Well Up For It!
Long way to travel if you aren't going to the game as you've got no interest but want to collect a ticket for your elderly grampa! You need to remember what lies you are telling in order to tell successful lies. Â

Good chance we will have a spare in our group anyway.
Claret97
I will take whatever I can get, but not sure if my grandad would be comfortable with that, he is 84 after all haha I am sure he would be more than happy to sit in the main stand next to anyone who doubts me

Well Up For It!
East stand, in a group of 8 of us. Not many steps.
Claret97
Sounds fine, as long as people don't stand in this area? Like during the game or that! And so can you just post the ticket out?
Claret97
You could post to his address, it's a Lanark/Carluke postcode

GrahamH
You really think that anybody is thick enough to post a ticket to some unknown because a new member has come on here with some BS story about "an elderly relative"? Seriously?
sbcmfc
Claret97, maybe I'm gullible, but im starting to believe you. Â Just a few points though, if your grampa is a 'well fan, surely he's been to one of the 2 cup finals, 5 semi finals or 10 european home games in recent history? Â If he was at any of those, he'll be on the database, and can get a ticket or get someone to go on his behalf (I'm sure the ticket office people wouldn't mind an 84 year old sending a family member). Â I would also add, if he is quite old frail and hasn't been to a ticketed game in the last 20 years, I'd suggest this isn't the one to start, safer if he watches this one in the house. The atmosphere will be poisonous, and there's a pretty high chance of some aggro. A lot of Ranfers fans have managed to get tickets amongst the motherwell fans particularly in the main stand, and we all know they struggle to behave. Claret97
Ok graham ah thanks for your help mate but he just wouldn't be able to stand for that length of time, it just wouldn't work. If you here of any in the main stand or where people sit for the majority of the game that would be ideal

Claret97
He has definitely been to some games in the last 10 years...pretty sure the last one was Celtic in the Scottish Cup final...I think, don't quote me on that! I'm not entirely sure how he went about getting tickets, not much help I know

kmmfc
There's a lot of steps to climb up in the main stand.
Claret97
He said something about going in a side entrance to cut down the amount of steps? If you sit near the front of the stand is there many steps?
