MelvinBragg
One of the new strikers has scored already... Results in preseason mean nothing...

Tickle Pickle
Simply cannot judge a team on pre-season results. Didnt we lose to Ayr 4-0 then finish second in the league!? Its all about workrate and building for the season ahead and as Melvin said... getting the mistakes out the way!!
superward
P-Humped. Like some have said - it's all about the real games. That said, a couple of decent wins is a nice confidence builder for team and fans alike!

Suprawell
We need to have a strong performance against Livvy and a win. Need to build some momentum. I think we will struggle as I don't believe in the manager, I hope he proves me wrong.
johnstone
Fuck sake! Beaten 3-0 is a training match and already the knickers are ringing and the phone is on speed dial to the Samaritans! All these games are for is match fitness and to test out some shit!
johnstone
Also did we not draw away from home against a top notch Dutch side...........aye exactly! Never read anything into a training game.
weeyin
Good to see the pre-season moans getting an outing. As well as eliminating the 12 quid entry price issue, playing training games behind closed doors would also reduce the panic, and complaining and misery on here. We have had some truly mince-worthy seasons on the back of a good pre-season and vice-versa. As long as we get through them injury free and let the new boys settle in, the results are pretty meaningless. Especially when there are so many subs and the bosses are playing with ideas and formations.

Welldaft Mk1
It is time to sack the Manager No t great losing 3-0 even if it is a friendly. I see free back post header for one of the goals. I guess as Motherwell fans we just need to accept we will give away free headed goals until we are all brown breid!!!
postiejim
Hardly panic guys, Rammer merely states he'd like tae see a few more goals, and I spout some drivel .Panic what panic.
Rammer
Hardly panic guys, Rammer merely states he'd like tae see a few more goals, and I spout some drivel .Panic what panic. Correct, if you read my post I'm quite aware these games don't count for much and we have time to sort things out but if Baraclough isn't at least asking questions of our strikers to go out in the next game and show him what they are made of, then he isn't doing his job right. Strikers feed off confidence so let's hope in the remaining pre-season games they can shine and carry some momentum into the opening game of the season.
Orinoco
Same mistakes at the back. Nothing creative in the middle of park. No service to the attackers. No ability to keep the ball under pressure. Pretty much sums it up. Much work to be done...
maxywell
Dundee Utd got pumped 4-0 by Vitesse the other day, they must be worse than us or maybe St Johnstone can challenge for the title since they held Real Sociedad to a 0-0.
Steelman94
All the teams we have played in preseason are better than us so its no surprise we haven't been humping teams, if we lose to Livingston then its time to be concerned
Lobey_Dosser
Pleasant enough afternoon away from the office, the game was quite aggressive in spells for a friendly. Tad concerning from a Motherwell perspective that we showed the same old frailties at the back with absolutely nothing going forward. First impression is that there is a player in Moult but he's going to need someone like Skippy beside him to get him in the game. Pearson motm by a distance with the two centre halves relatively dominant in open play despite the score line.
Haggischomper
Couldn't care less if we lose to Livi or not
Orinoco
Normally, i would agree about friendly results, but we need to build confidence with wins and quickly given the difficult start we have.
