postiejim
I seriously think this is THE turning point.
GazzyB
Genuinely thought we had zero chance of turning this round tonight. Also got a few bites from OF fans on social media. Very pleased. When's the draw?

weeyin
It's absolutely frightening that people aren't in the baraclough out camp Probably because they were around during the McLean Out camp.
ropy
Haven't scored 3 since the Rangers games, enjoyed them
jamesc
Would love to think it could be the turning point of our season but realistically it's just papered over the cracks till Saturday.
weeyin
For fans that can't make it to these games, I recommend holding off reading the match thread until close to full time.
Prestwickwell
Probably because they were around during the McLean Out camp. I was around during that time as well. Granted I was about 8 so didn't really know any better. Thing about cup ties is everyone knows they can be potential banana skins, but you expect your team to dominate. Hearts drew in normal time but you can bet your boots they've totally dominated. The Rangers scudding should have been the turning point for us, not scraping past East Fife

postiejim
All in all no a bad night ,Accies beat ,Celtic beat and a Motherwell win. By all accounts a poor performance but in cup games the important thing is the result.

Burn_Broomfield
The team that finished should be the team that starts on Saturday with only McManus to replace Kennedy
Wellarmy
Too fuckin tight but in the next round, all that matters.
Orinoco
why replace Kennedy? by all accounts it was Laing that had a nightmare. There are others as well who may be lucky to even make the bench.
superward
Grasping at a positive here...but at least the team found the baws to score the goals required at the end of the day.
Burn_Broomfield
IMO Laing and McManus have struck up a decentish partnership. Laing genuinely looked lost at times tonight, but Kennedy didn't look a great deal better.
Burn_Broomfield
Law put in one of the poorest performances I've ever seen from someone in a Motherwell shirt tonight. Watt looked more assured and better defensively in his brief cameo than Law has all season.
Gaag
wonder if this will give McDonald a bit of confidence to kick start his season. Squeaky bums, but just glad we're through. Big relief

fergi4
A lot of players should treasure the wages collected this past month; not sure some are even capable for part-time lower league.
