underboyleheating
I'd like to see us with two up top, either Moult and Fletcher (if the latter is fit) He’s still out unfortunately.
BigWeegieDosser
Play the game, not the occasion There's only one way to beat them, that's round the back Keep it tight early doors No regrets, don't leave anything on the pitch Work the keeper Right, that's the cliché bollocks out the way. Time to set off for the Theatre of Dreams COME ON YE 'WELL!!!

capt_oats
You're fucking kidding? What's up with him? How long is out for? He took a knock in the United game, which is why he was subbed off.
jamesc
Based on our painful inconsistency, today should be an easy 3 points! Especially against a team that are probably banking on today being an 'easy' win for them. Could be the perfect game to give our season a jump start. Fingers crossed anyway! steelboy
I'll be surprisde if we play anything other than 4-5-1. McDonald up top and tell him he either bucks up his ideas or forgets about his midweek flights to London.
Neil
You're fucking kidding? What's up with him? How long is out for? You may have missed him having to hop around after appearing to strain something against United. Interview from Baraclough suggests he isn't too far away. Ya Bezzer!
Aberdeen are so strong down the wide areas - Logan & McGinn, Shinnie & Hayes, and they have a nailed down goalscorer in Adam Rooney. Aberdeen also didn't have a midweek game which will surely give them a fitness advantage in the latter stages. Going to be very difficult today, would not be unhappy with a point but we'll see how it goes.

Orinoco
we seem to have picked up abit since we lost the goal. long 2nd half tho.....
Orinoco
another goal lost to a set piece. why do we bother?? carbon copy of last season it seems with regards to the defence. we might be better going forward but the same mistakes at the back is costing us yet again. We've lost a hell of alot of soft goals this season already.

postiejim
As most said another defeat in run of 4 games we weren't expected to take much from, its now supposed tae be a run of games we ARE expected to pick up a number of point's from.....I'm not so sure . Shotts Well Fan
sounds like a foul on Ripley for second goal.
Dezz
Will be interested to hear the story from those at the game. The stats on Sportscene showed it as very even. Sounds as if Ripley could have been at fault for both goals but will reserve judgement until I see them.
fat_tony
Disappointed to lose that, we certainly didn't deserve to. Night and day compared to Wednesday. McDonald was involved in everything, Moult is starting to look like a player, and Thomas did well when he came on. First goal was a freak cross/shot that deceived everyone and trundled in. Second I couldn't see but there were lots of shouts for a foul on the keeper, especially since it was 2 minutes after McManus was penalised for jumping into an Aberdeen player in their box. Aberdeen didn't look like the world beaters they've been made out to be. Definitely a case of being unlucky rather than soundly beaten. Johnson had a poor second half. Moult looks like he could turn out to be a quality signing, shades of Chris Porter about him, hopefully he gets a goal to his name soon.
Chris
I disagree. I thought we struggled to break them down at the back and there was hardly a plethora of clear cut chances which we created. Aberdeen's goals may have been soft but these are the kind of mistakes which we are making and you cannot afford to that if you want to find yourself higher up in the league. The only statistic which matters is the final score and conceding 6 goals in 3 matches with only one reply is highly concerning.
