Kris-A-Goalda
4000 folk all trying to connect to the Internet at the same time under a tin roof means you'll always get rubbish signal. Exactly same at concerts and any large gatherings. Whatever happened to that handsome lad off MFCTV anyway?
keebo86
02 never works in fir park for some reason fine every where else in motherwell but fir park is some sort of dark spot.
capt_oats
yep, I'm O2 as well and my phone is totally useless inside Fir Park.
wee_alpha
yep, I'm O2 as well and my phone is totally useless inside Fir Park. I am GiffGaff, which uses O2 signal, and I have same issue, not just in park but even in streets round about. My dad sitting beside me is on Three and has no problem what so ever. Ya Bezzer!
I'm EE and it is very spotty in the East Stand, at half time it's very hard to get a signal but I can usually get one before and after the game.
underboyleheating
My EE signal works well from where I sit in the East Stand.
weeyin
The paint on the steps must be metallic and causing some sort of electromagnetic interference.
Geedub
I got 4G in the East Stand on Saturday at half time and I'm on O2. Think that's the first time ever. There's a woman who sits near me who will watch replays of goals if the game is live on the telly via Sky Go and I usually struggle to even get the Livescore app to work. Luckily she has the biggest phone I've ever seen so I can just watch it over her shoulder. Please don't tell the polis, steelboy

Seem to recall Officer Dibble in Dingwall took his shoes off him for evidence & forced him home on the bus in his stocking soles! No doubt an add on extra to an existing account.

East Stand Well Boy
I'm on 3 and it works, although can sometimes take a while to load up certain apps, easy to get a bet on, tough to check a score.
Sup3rw3ll
it's to do with the number of folk trying to use the network. i live on dalzell drive and the signal is fine when a match is not on. when a few thousand folk turn up all with mobiles in hand, it's all down to your luck if you get a data connection of any value. i tried to explain this to vodafone last year and to expand the network or add 4G in the area. i gave up when the call centre kept coming back with answers clearly off a diagnositc flow chart. Would there be any objections from local residents if Vodaphone applied for planning permission to erect a new mobile phone mast in your neighbourhood? numpty
Are the BBC still showing highlights of spl games? If you can call what Sportscene offers "highlights", yes... I assume they still just talk over the same footage that goes up on the SPFL's YouTube channel on a Saturday night, unless things have changed this year. Sunday night was shocking Motherwell/Killie game got about 45 secs, less than the two Championship games that had highlights included in the show. In fairness BBC Alba had 60mins of the game which may or may not have been airing at the same time as Sportscene.
