steelboy
David fererre- reunion island? It's a region of France rather than a country. They enter a team into the French Cup every year. Some away day.
Kat
I don't recall either Rovde or Krysiak. Goalies? Yeah both keepers. Don't recall Rovde either but Krysiak was on loan in 2009 I believe and played last game of season against Kilmarnock.

It says on the Vancouver Whitecaps website he was with us in 2002/03 but we were in admin then and had Woods and Dubourdeax. There was massive amounts of greeting every time we signed a player, never mind signing a Norwegian third choice goalie. Eddie Forrest would have had been in every paper in Scotland bumping his gums. Bigwellfan
Gunni Johnsson was an Icelander signed by McLeish who played two games and conceded two penalties

Haggischomper
There is some amount of shite foreigners that have played for us!!! Pretty sure we would have had local lads in the reserves that would have been better options
fizoxy
Other than the Sierra Leone guy above, was there not another player who we were supposed to have signed but it was all bollocks? Finnish maybe, would have been during kampmann's tenure.

weeyin
There is some amount of shite foreigners that have played for us!!! That was largely a direct effect of the Bosman ruling. All of a sudden we (and every other team in the UK) had a source of cheap foreigners. They were continental, so they must be good, right? Finnish maybe, would have been during kampmann's tenure. There was a guy from the Faroes or something called Frode Hansen I think. Supposedly Kampman had signed him without telling anyone and his contract was found in a drawer. Think there were some legal things involved and he never played for us. All a bit vague but that's what my memory tells me

Kat
Yeah i think that Hans Frodi Hansen had a belter of a game for the Faroes vs Scotland and in an interview he mentioned the bad treatment from Motherwell. Another similar situation with Kampman was that he had signed Finnish defender Harri Ylonen before he got his jotters.
fizoxy
Ylonen was the one I was thinking of.
Well Up For It!
-----------Sieb------------ ---Nijholt Krivocapic VanDerGaag ---- --------Valikari O'Neil-------------- Humphrey-----Brannan---------Elliott ---------McDonald Coyne------------- That's some team, although I'd have Owen Coyle before McDonald and maybe Randolph over Dyskstra. Also, if we came up against Henrik Larson, big Kemble would have to play. Maybe an argument for having Deloumeaux in the line up some where. Obviously Ferrere would be the sub!
