MelvinBragg
I suspect that it's 442 with Grisham at right back.. Who's on the bench..?
jinty
3-5-2 according to Twitter. Good team
Big Wispy Flossy
Yassss Pearo is back. 3-5-2 today. Ripley Kennedy McManus Chalmers Ainsworth Grimshaw Lasley Pearo Johnson Moult & McDonald I'd be very surprised if we are playing 352 with ainsworth and Johnson as wing backs

AllyMax
I suspect that it's 442 with Grisham at right back.. Who's on the bench..? I suspect that also. Can't go three at the back with Ainsworth and Johnson. Not exactly known for slotting in at the back when under pressure. You can do that when your backs are people like Rab McKinnon. Tonicg
352 is giving me the fear. Ainsworth and Johnson are probably the least suited wingers to play wingback I can think of

ropy
Grimshaw at right back surely
mfcdez
Encouraged with that starting 11 , but think 3-5-2 formation is a bit ambitious . Would imagine Grimshaw will sit just in front of McManus in a holding role and rarely stray beyond halfway . 2 goals and a clean sheet would be nice . ropy
Wonder what has been said to Taylor, maybe just taking him out the firing line.
MearnsWell
Here's hoping he's closer to Hately than Law in terms of converted mids playing full back *if* that's the case...
Kmac
I'm really hoping it is a 3-5-2. Grimshaw will be told to play side to side with lasley breaking up play and Pearson going forward. Good line up. Than fuck someone has saw fit to drop Law and Taylor. Well done Craigan. Haggischomper
Fletcher on the bench too. Think that is a significant return for us. Suddenly, we seem much stronger
ropy
I hope future teams will not be selected by what the fans want, this looks like ticking a lot of the fan's boxes in terms of personnel.

He is a converted right back to centre mid according to his first interview when he signed
GazzyB
I mind when Gordon Young and then Kenny Black took temporary charge I was disappointed they just went with the status quo, absolutely delighted to see Craigan having no fear to ring the changes. Just checked, we're 9/5 in some places...

Last post by:
Got a feeling we'll get a man sent off today for some reason. Lasley perhaps.

Gadgey
Is grimshaw at right back? According to BBC stats, we've been heavily under the kosh since the goal. What's it really been like?
MearnsWell
Thistle have had spells, and are unlicky not to be level tbh. We're not exactly setting heather on fire
Ya Bezzer!
Think we have been much better so far, but are defending a bit too deep when Thistle have the ball. Partick much better than I thought they would be, far from the worst team we've played this season. Players look up for it but need improve our out ball and final touch. siebsbarmyarmy
What a difference Pearson makes. Energy and physicality in the middle of the park. Not been great other than that, Skippy very very slack and Lasley really needs to screw the nut. Stupid tackles and running out of position. Distribution from the back has been poor. Oh and the Thistle keeper hasn't had a save to make.

What's it really been like? Yes, standard 4 4 2. Thistle have had more chances but I think we've looked more dangerous.
