Yassin
I've said before that I don't remember much from his first spell, so can someone fill me in on - His handling of O'Donnell's death -Him whoring himself out (I remember him applying for the Hearts job... I think?)

faddythedaddy
I'm happy with either simo or McGhee. The latter probably a safer pick. The football we played in his first season was outstanding although the lack of plan b was worrying. Didn't hold McCall back mind u!
Al B
I think McGhee would have a field day with Marvin on one side, Lionel on the other, and Moult, Fletcher and McDonald as his options up front.
Kmcalpin
Mark McGhee is still well liked at the club which tells you a lot. If he had really 100% snaked us he wouldn't be anywhere near fir park. I reckon his stints at Aberdeen and Bristol City have grounded him a bit and I would be happy to see him back. Absolutely. In contrast to Mark McGhee, and as I've written before, Simo Valakari did not leave the club in the best of circumstances.
underboyleheating
-Him whoring himself out (I remember him applying for the Hearts job... I think?) If you believe some reports, he was minutes from boarding a plane to meet Romanov before Boyle convinced him to stay.
Al B
My main memory of Simo is him never scoring the whole time he was at Fir Park...in fact he had a spell where his shooting was starting to bring down the Motorola sign in stages. Then he bagged one on his debut for Derby!
GazzyB
Maybe just maybe there is more to it than that as alluded to in an earlier email. Do you know something we don't by chance? Could never tell.

Yoshi-1991
Can't stick McGhee, he can fuck right off as far as I am concerned.
fizoxy
Bold move by the sun considering they pronounced MVG as manager last time http://thesun.uk/6012B3EPG I'm now convinced it isn't going to be muttley.

Spiderpig
After the way he treated us the first time round I'm disgusted it's McGhee. I am not buying this " he treated us badly pish" all he was guilty of was trying to get a bigger and better job and when he got one he left. Nothing there that any one of us would'nt do given the same chances. If he does get the job and gets the team winning again nobody will give a shit. MearnsWell
Think Craggs has been quoted as saying McGee was the best manager he'd ever worked with? He'd undoubtedly be happy learning the trade with him, also Scott Leitch is still involved in academy setup. Lotta synergies there... Shaka
Absolutely. In contrast to Mark McGhee, and as I've written before, Simo Valakari did not leave the club in the best of circumstances. Really? He wasnt initially offered a contract, then was but knocked it back as Derby ofdered a lot more. Whats wrong wi that?

Welldaft Mk1
Do you know something we don't by chance? Could never tell. Of course I do, but that would be telling.... He never snaked us, more like the other way around...
Kmcalpin
Really? He wasnt initially offered a contract, then was but knocked it back as Derby ofdered a lot more. Whats wrong wi that? Welldaft Mk1 was probably at the same meeting I was at in Edinburgh. Nothing wrong in moving for a higher offer - it depends on how you do it. Comments in the press at the time were misleading and led to mass outrage amongst our fans. The version that I heard from a former club official was somewhat different, in fact very different. punk_in_drublic
If it's McGhee I'll be pretty happy with that. As experienced and successful as a club like us could probably hope for in the current circumstances. And like many others id be quite keen to see what he can do with this squad because I think it has talent that we've not seen yet. If McGhee can make a winger from Patterson then I'd love to see what he can do with Ainsworth and Johnson.
