Hard to split Ainsworth and Kennedy, but Lional just shaded it for his hand in both goals, plus the coupla mazys in 2nd half.

Ainsworth, but only just over Kennedy. Both were very good in the second half. Now if Kennedy can just sort out his distribution.

Easily Kennedy. Can see why ainsworth got it cos he had a few runs. But Kennedy was composed at the back and snuffed out most attacks that came his way.

Tough choice between Ainsworth and Kennedy.

Lionel's work rate has improved beyond recognition and combined with his attacking threat, he has the potential to really push the team on.

Kennedy looked strong in the tackle and very assured. If he can improve his distribution, then he can be vital for the team this season and beyond.

Lionel edged it today for me with Kennedy a very close 2nd.

Was between Ainsworth and Kennedy for me. Kennedy looked pretty assured physically though if he could curb the urge to ping cross field balls into the East stand he'd improve tenfold. In the interests of rewarding positive play though I've gone for Ainsworth. Involved in both goals and a couple of cracking runs, he made a difference.

Also best performance from Ainsworth for a long time and good solid performance from Grimshaw at right back.

For what it's worth I thought Lasley was shite. Complete liability. Constantly diving in and leaving his position exposed. Lucky not to see a red card.

I've never given Ainsworth MOTM. Still haven't as big Kennedy edged it for me! Improves with every game
