superward
Interested to see what the split is here...simple yes or no.

superward
Interesting so far - as of now (4.45pm), 83.9% in favour. Thought it would be more of an even split I have to say.

David
Nah, I'd rather we moved forwards than backwards. He's closing in on 60, been sacked by his last two clubs and hasn't been involved in club management in three years. Surely there has to be a better option out there? Gaag
as much as i think it's a terrible decision - it appears as though the voice of the support have spoken. 80/20 in favour is a clear winner. Think yer all mental though!
underboyleheating
I voted yes, I wanted an experienced manager and we appear to have brought one in. Will McGhee be off at a hint of interest from another club? Yes, however we need someone to steady the ship, and at this moment McGhee fits the bill. capt_oats
In the absence of a 3rd "not getting worked up either way" option I went with Yes. As others have said, they got burnt with the Baraclough appointment so it's no surprise that they've gone with someone who's much more of a known quantity this time round. If nothing else, given McGhee's previous working relationship with Craigan and Leitch, it's a logical appointment. There are probably other managers I'd have preferred (though none were seemingly in the running) so in that respect and given the relative inexperience of those who were being quoted as realistic contenders I completely understand the appointment and why they've made it.
Graeme Bremner
Just what we need right now an experienced head who knows the sottish game can't wait to see how we do under him
weeyin
More No than Yes for me, but I'm sure he can change my mind if he gets us playing the same way as he did in his first season. I'm fickle like that.
Shaka
heart says no,head says no. He had a great first season with us but we had a better team then. His record since, is fucking abysmal. However Il give him support and hope to be proved wrong. At least he is a good bit harder than the clown before him so the prima dona players will hopefully get a fuckin rocket under them
Jacol
Good appointment, an experienced manager had some success as manager in the past also had failure which hopefully he will have learned from. Exactly what we need right now.
orange county dosser
Media whore. No loyalty. No shame. Terrible appointment. Only saving grace is that he'll be off before they get his training top printed up !. Cunt of the highest order.
Al B
Media whore. No loyalty. No shame. Cunt of the highest order. If we win games then I have absolutely no problem with any of the above.
AllyMax
Media whore. No loyalty. No shame. Terrible appointment. Only saving grace is that he'll be off before they get his training top printed up !. Cunt of the highest order. Spot on. If you can see past his whoring tendencies, how about just looking at his managerial record ? Bar 2/3 of a season for us, it's fuckin' awful. Bar 2/3 of a season for us, it's fuckin' awful. When you say his manegerial record is awful, do you mean with the exception of having a win ratio of 40% or better at 4 different clubs totalling 11 and a half years? Gadgey
His managerial record isn't awful. Though granted, there have been clubs that it's fair to say that it didn't go too well. With regards his whoring tendencies, I guess he's at an age now and taken the ego knocks where perhaps he's now content with his lot and not looking to be jumping ship again. Perhaps not, and he still thinks he's got a 'big club' job left in him. I think one defining factor is he still lives in Brighton and unlikely to relocate so again, maybe if he is settled, he could be lured to a job closer to 'home'. I think he's been brought in to get the playing side of Les' master plan back on track and when he goes perhaps at the end of season '16-17, have his successor coming from within. Ya Bezzer!
Media whore. No loyalty. No shame. Terrible appointment. Only saving grace is that he'll be off before they get his training top printed up !. Cunt of the highest order. Has appeared on telly = media whore. Turned down Hearts to stay at Motherwell = no loyalty. No shame = the supporters that sung absolutely disgraceful abuse at McGhee at Aberdeen. Terrible appointment = speculative guess based on having knickers in twist He'll be off before they get his training top printed = contracted to 2017 Cunt of the highest order = hopefully less Stegosaurus, more wins
Haggischomper
People wanted an experienced manager with knowledge of the Scottish game who could come in and immediately steady the ship. They got exactly that and are now shitting their pants about it. Unbelievable. After the appointment of Bara, did people really expect the club to go down that route again with a Valakari, or a Dickov, or a Maskaant? Safe option was the right course, in my opinion.
Welldaft Mk1
Truth is - any appointment would have split opinions and this is no different. I am happy to see him back, but have no way of knowing whether it will be judged a success or an unmitigated disaster. Time will tell. The poll shows almost 80% in favour. So some real pantywetters as per. Nothing unusual in that on this board. Welcome back Muttley - good luck...
