A point on the road to one of the better teams in the league, albeit off the boil a bit, is decent progress.

Sounded like a decent performance, which is something we've not seen often enough in recent times. Good to hear a few player who haven't kicked a ball this season up till now finding a bit of form.

Hopefully we can build on this... Onwards and upwards.

Has McGee appointed an assistant yet or is Robinson still fucking loitering about? Sure he's the reason Law gets a start every week, everytime he plays we loose! Why are they not playing Reid, he dosen't even get a mention on the injured list![/quote

All these asst mgrs seem to have undue influence according to some on here.A few months ago Kenny black was the source of all our problems according to same folks

Give us a break ,McGhee is experienced enough to know his own mind

Happy with a draw at a potentially difficult venue. Whether Aberdeen played well or not is of no consequence whatsoever; historically they've won more than their fair share of games against us despite being played off the park. Maybe we're starting to see some progress now.

Honestly, that was night and day from what we've seen so far this season.

Superb performance for the most part and their keeper made 4 genuinely top class saves in the last 5 mins to deny us all 3 points. I can't remember the last time we created as many chances in a game. Lost our shape for about 20 mins when Lasley went off injured and to be fair we had a few lucky escapes that could have buried us. However we showed good character to get back in it and once we equalized we settled down and could have won it.

We had a good shape, we were aggressive in the challenge and when we had the ball we popped it about well and played some decent stuff while creating chances. Johnson and Law were like different players, Grimshaw was superb in the middle, Kennedy and McManus were both solid again at the back. Ripley only had one real save to make but it was a belter and our goal was textbook Skippy, inbetween two defenders and a bullet header.

The first game I've genuinely enjoyed since the opening day, obviously a lot of hard work done on the training ground this week and a lot more to be done as well, however that was hugely encouraging today.

Well done to McGhee and the entire team.

Driving back now and taking a break on thebl road.

We had most of the first, best chances and 0-0 would have been a fair way to go in. Soft freekick and couldnt really see who lost Rooney for the header. Las had a good 45 pushing high with Pearson playing well on the left also with Chalmers. On the other side Grimshaw, Johnson and Law were combining well. Fletcher and Moult did a lot of good work but ball wasnt satickin to them at all.

Second half Aberdeen bossed 15/20min and we looked at sea and shaky all over.

The subs from 60 odd mins changed it and Ainsworth, Skippy, Theo and a tiring Johnson did really well and pushed us on to get the equaliser and nearly the winner.

Defence looked solid throughout I thought bar a couple if shaky moments. Law and Chalmers did a lot to prove the doubters wrong.

Ripley also a great game - savs and coming for crosses.

Wasn't at the game but reports of Johnson's performance is great news, we all know he's got ability but has looked lost all season.

As for Law, never been a fan but if Mcghee can do a Jim Paterson or Mcgarry with him, then I bow to his managerial capabilities.

Good point, onwards to mid table security please.
