Yabba's Turd
Yer official match thread for Saturday, not losing this would be good.
underboyleheating
I’m predicting a hard fought 1-1 draw.
Lobey_Dosser
Fancy us to win this for some reason but we'll need to defend well. 2-1 Skippy and Moult.
capt_oats
Think our form against County is something like WXLXX. Score draw for me. 1-1 McDonald for us.
Donaldo87
Dont think our 1 goal a game will be good enough. 1-1 draw at best. Probably a 2-1 defeat.
superward
Not always an easy game up there....sometimes it turns out it is. So, score draw also! 1 -
StipeIsGod
Yep. I'm on the score draw 1-1 train as well. Goal from an odd source. Pearson maybe.
GazzyB
Gutted to be missing a 'home' game, will be down in Edinburgh this weekend. Can't see us getting anything from this game, 2-0 to County
Spiderpig
going up for this one,we have shown signs of improvement recently so i think we can get something from the game. would love a win but think it will be a 1-1 draw
johnstone
2-0 county.
milo
Need to take something from this as its Hearts up next and Thistle and Inverness are playing each other and therefore at least one of them will take something!! Home win I'm afraid though.
weeyin
and Thistle and Inverness are playing each other and therefore at least one of them will take something!! You do know that means at least one of them will drop something?
Ya Bezzer!
You do know that means at least one of them will drop something? Not if they both gain a point. For some reason I have a feeling our away form is going to be better than our home form for the immediate future.
weeyin
Not if they both gain a point. For some reason I have a feeling our away form is going to be better than our home form for the immediate future. I'm no mathematician, but they draw, then they have both dropped 2 points. I'm not at the stage of the season where I worry about other teams, though. Just looking forward to seeing if we can improve on our last game. It was never going to be a quick fix, but feel we might get something from this game.
Frazzie
Very petty on here again. Milos point is entirely valid. We know that if we lose to County, we will be in a worse-off state in the league than previously as at least one of our rivals in guaranteed to pick up something. Quite often in a relegation battle, everyone involved loses and it's a case of "as you were" come Monday morning.
weeyin
Only if you don't understand that in a league situation sometimes your rivals play each other. Like I said above, it's way too soon in the season for me to start worrying about rival teams' results. We need to be concentrating on our own performance and where we stand at the end of the campaign. Worrying about the 'micro-positions' as it were, is a sure recipe for misery. superward
If they draw they will both gain and drop points. Dropping more than they gain. Which will be our gain. But not as much as if one of them lost which would mean we gain more. But on the other hand not gain as much as one of the teams had gained more than the other by not dropping points! In summary, let's try and win our game!
The African
Would probably take a point right now. Too early to be a must win so a decent performance will be of greater importance. Having said that, not getting something from a decent ninety minutes may begin to affect confidence, so hoping we do get a result. County are a decent side, but it should not be beyond us. Kmcalpin
County will pose a serious physical challenge - they're no shrinking violets. However we're due some serious good luck after the Inverness debacle and I'll happily take being played off the park and winning 2-0. underboyleheating
it's way too soon in the season for me to start worrying about rival teams' results. It’s never too early to start looking at other teams results. I would rather have points on the board early than be scrambling around for points and favours from other teams during the final few games of the season. Hamilton are a good case in point, as their early season form last year prevented them from getting sucked too far into that relegation battle. superward
Hammy unlikely to feature, Lasley definitely still out for the game.
Burn_Broomfield
Can't really be arsed going, such is my current feelings surrounding the Club. I might go or I might go the Leeds v Rotherham match at Elland Road instead, the latter is the current favourite if I'm honest. We'll be doing well to get a draw, so I'd take that just now. dmsd
Would take a draw ! But me thinks a defeat on cards as they are a good team just hope MM. Been working there arses off for last 2 weeks 2-0 county
