weeyin
I remember struggling to a draw with Stenhousemuir at Ochil View in a Cup tie. Must have been around 1980 or 81. We cuffed them in the return game at Fir Park, though. Knocked 5 or 6 past them, I recall.

Catweazles ring piece
Good draw. Paul Lawson effect!
Lobey_Dosser
Got to be happy with that. Although we're probably jinxed after McCall pulled out our ball.
MelvinBragg
Really couldn't ask for a better draw. Although the mantle of overwhelming favourites never sits well with us...
Shotts Well Fan
Fancied a game up here but hey ho happy with this. Cove good team though unbeaten this season.
Burn_Broomfield
Not an easy tie. Cove and Formartine are significantly better than most lower league clubs, better financed and with better facilities. It won't be a walk over. Goggles & Flippers
To progress in the competition, as good a draw as you can hope for. Financially, if we played them away, it would have covered the petrol and the hotel rooms. To stage a game at FP it's approx £25k so when you half the gate money from a home support of what .... 3k plus 200 teuchters paying on average £12 a ticket we'll probably make a small loss, best case break even. Shaka
Decent draw. One even better thing is Cove's striker and best player moves to Australia this month, he has scored over 20 so far I believe so will weaken them majorly. Formartine are a good side, spent an insane amount of money for a highland league team (£30-40k signing fee for Paul Lawson, £40k transfer fee to Fraserburgh for Scott Barbour,£30k to Keith for Cammy Keith,£20k signing fee for Jamie Masson from Aberdeen, several other transfer and signing fees and compo of around £30k for Kris Hunter and their new management team. Spiderpig
Not an easy tie. Cove and Formartine are significantly better than most lower league clubs, better financed and with better facilities. It won't be a walk over. At Fir Park we will pump either of them, non league part timers FFS if they keep it to less than 3 or 4 they will have done well.
underboyleheating
part timers That title has never stopped lower league teams from beating us in the past. Albion Rovers, anyone? The only loser in this tie is us. If we get beat (god forbid), it will go down as one of the biggest upsets in the history of the Scottish Cup. If we win, we will have done what the majority will expect us to do. Failing to win this one, IS NOT AN OPTION!
weeyin
Love to see a cup run this year, of course, and expect us win professionally here. Climbing up the league, however, remains the highest priority.
