daver
I'm about a mile from the ground and it's been dry all day and not too bad - all depends how goosed their pitch is but it really shouldn't be off in this weather.

underboyleheating
Famous last words - the rain is on now! I noticed that, I am sure that also heard hailstones.
milo
Absolutely have to take something from this tonight. I'd settle for a point (provided we're not denied the win by another highly dubious late penalty!) Like always, I have a bad feeling however..... Kmcalpin
Well it certainly won't be a surface for playing good football. It'll be all about determination, hard work, organisation and yes, good luck.
underboyleheating
Not a night for silky football, I predict that it’s going to be a battle against the elements and the officials.
Ya Bezzer!
Our recent history at Firhill is pretty awful, not an away ground we get much joy at. We are surely due a lucky break though after a month of hard luck stories. Thistle after a good run have hit a little sticky patch, so lets hope we can take advantage of that. daver
Just drove by the ground on my way home. There's something about the floodlights gets me excited.
underboyleheating
Thistle after a good run have hit a little sticky patch It's the sticky patches on the Firhill surface that is concerning me more.
Richie
To be fair, the 6-6 Hibs game and Jutkiewicz's volley were on a horrific pitch, so you never know.
fizoxy
Same lineup from Saturday, gomis on bench.
Shaka
wouldve preferred Gomis in for a start with a view to the cup game
Yoshi-1991
I assume there is no tv coverage for this?
MelvinBragg
Continuity is no bad thing. Even if Gomis gets the last half hour, that'll help for Saturday. Hopefully we won't need to bring him on. Another couple of days training with the team before the cup game won't do any harm...
cameltoe
Wings of the pitch are absolutely hideous. Heavily sanded.
Richie
Just saw photos of the nick of the pitch. Ooft. We, quite rightly, got slated for it. Theirs looks equally as bad. No clamour for points deductions etc though. Anyway... Quite looking forward to it. Will be cutting it fine, so will need to be a Brisk walk (or taxi) up Maryhill Rd
GazzyB
Taken us in a treble with Arsenal and West Ham at 11/1, mon the 'Well!!
Richie
I have us, Palace, Stoke and West Brom £4 = £
Kmcalpin
wouldve preferred Gomis in for a start with a view to the cup game I too would have preferred Gomis to start if only because it would give our midfield more bite and afford more protection to the centre backs and Ripley. Still MMcG knows best and he may have thought Gomis not to be fully match fit. We certainly cannot afford to sit back like we did last Saturday. Lobey_Dosser
Surprised we've went with same lineup as Saturday, the likes of Ainsworth and Kennedy could have came in without weakening us too much. Hopefully tonight on a heavy pitch doesn't hamper out hopes in the cup. What's the script with Laing? Missed the bench again and wasn't in U20s team today.
