Kmcalpin
I know it is guesswork re Chalmers however he played in midfield early season and was much more comfortable there than at fullback. Yes but that was at wide left - he hasn't yet played in the middle. Again the midfield's role will be crucial tonight in supporting the striker(s) and shielding the defence. Both full backs need to be on their game as well.
something else
A comfortable 2 nil win , with McGhee demanding to be paraded round Motherwell tomorrow in the papamobile, all at the expense of those peasants who had the cheek to boo or question him over the last few games.
gilmour
Big hints McFadden going to start but he hinted Ainsworth was going to be unleashed. Well he did but in 88mins and you know the rest. I really can't stand this cnt being back in charge.
gilmour
Utd even money at home. A betting man would well ? Left it alone and went for Sheffield Utd v bury. Fantastic odds for Utd but heart ruled head.
steelboy
A Killie and Hearts double is 15-1. That's a decent enough fix without betting against us.
Ya Bezzer!
Would take a point tonight, no problem.
Shire Greats
Ridiculous. I was under the impression that cup replays were ok as they were not scheduled, that's shocking, I wanted to watch Hearts vs Hibs, will be much more entertaining than Chelsea! Totally agree, one of the factors which is ruining football.....undue prominence given to cash rich English footbal.
Well-Made
Team is Ripley, Laing, McManus, Hall, Cadden, Lasley, Gomis, McFadden, Johnson, Moult and McDonald. Anyone work out the formation?
Dezz
Any got any idea what formation we are playing tonight then?!

siebsbarmyarmy
Not got a clue...... 3-3-4......
1991
Must be 3 centre half with Cadden and Marvin as wing backs faddy behind Skippy and Moult would be my guess but that's a guess
scoojy
According to the wee video: Back four of Laing, McManus, Hall, Cadden Midfield of Faddy, Lasley, Gomis, Johnson edit - but likely to be as above. 3 centre halfs + wing backs

Well-Made
That's the way I took it as well Scoojy but couldn't work out the fullbacks.
Andy_P
Both full backs need to be on their game as well. Fullbacks you say.....
milo
Ripley Laing McManus Hall Cadden Lasley Gomis Johnson McFadden Moult McDonald I think that's how they'll line up. It's an interesting line up. Let's hope the players know what they're doing as it's an unusual formation.
faddythedaddy
If Johnson and cadden are operating as wing backs then we are fucked
mio
i'm alarmed that I actually quite like that formation. very heartened by the attacking formation. Dundee Utd 2 v 'Motherwell

siebsbarmyarmy
If Johnson and cadden are operating as wing backs then we are fucked More likely just wide players. If it's a 3-4-1-2..... Quite interesting stuff tho.
Big Wispy Flossy
If Johnson and cadden are operating as wing backs then we are fucked Cadden has played as a wing back in all but the last 2 seasons of his footballing life. Not guaranteeing he will be any good tho.
sinjy
Please please not Johnston at left back.
hammy
At least we're back to having two strikers. Louis Laing potentially at full back could be worrying, players like Spittal and Dow could have him on toast all game!
Shire Greats
If Johnson and cadden are operating as wing backs then we are fucked Youre being a bit private fraser. Be negative after the game , let's see the positives before it.....by all means come back on after the game and give me pelters ,if ur right
