milo
Some backlog of games if this is called off.
gilmour
Latest forecast is heavy rain until lunchtime and then lighter showers till about 5.00 and dry afterwards. You might well be right but would it not be a first if a game was called off because of heavy rain affecting travelling. Who knows what Police Scotland will decide. I was thinking more the high winds

Kmcalpin
I was thinking more the high winds It will be windy but not gale force. Forecast seems to be improving. Seems like the worst of the storm will be earlier and elsewhere. Fingers crossed.

Seems like the worst of the storm will be earlier and elsewhere. Fingers crossed. I read we could have up to 120 mm (nearly 5 inches ) of rain .if that's the case the game will be off .Hopefully as KMc said we will miss the worst . underboyleheating
I read we could have up to 120 mm (nearly 5 inches ) of rain .if that's the case the game will be off Agreed, very few surfaces could withstand that kind of deluge. Fingers crossed it bypasses Fir Park.

The critical period will be between 0200 and 1000 tomorrow morning, as that is the expected period of heaviest rainfall.
Lobey_Dosser
This better be on as I'm missing my festive fix of football. For all those who want summer football, the Christmas holidays would drag on forever without football.
underboyleheating
Ross County beat Killie 3-2 tonight, this has to be a positive result for us as we now have three games in hand over Killie, and we are a point better off. Agreed. Killie were 2-1 up as well I think which would have been rubbish. We're 10 goals clear of them on goal difference as well.
superwell87
Will be a tough one but I will settle for a point.

Kmcalpin
Great result for us tonight with Killie getting beaten. It gives us a better cushion and may ease the pressure slightly.

another number
Dry just now and not much standing water where I am. My grass is fairly soggy right enough but I've not got undersoil drainage ;-)
daver
Win our three games in hand and we are level with Ross County, easy. Ross County and Thistle have shown that a reasonably short run of form can make a huge difference in league position. I think their games have been against the teams around them so it should be possible for any of the teams - that's the challenge we have to set ourselves. superward
Pitch will have taken a fair bit of rain last night. However it's not really rained properly here since about 8am. Original forecast was heavy rain all the way to afternoon which has now also disappeared. Wind will dry it up enough. Game will be fine I think (crosses fingers)

underboyleheating
Current players are Molly coddled Jessie's.......the parks to wet,to windy etc etc Teams in the 50s/60s/70s played through all weathers and the parks were more like ploughed fields. Players today, don’t know their born! Lol Seriously though, I much prefer to watch a game on a good surface.
