Yabba's Turd
Don't see this being any easier than St Jonhstone. Be great to get a win and extend ourselves up the table
Mitch
The pitched still looked in good condition come the final whistle last night. Good sign ahead of Saturday. Quite confident going into this one. We really should rip them to pieces with our pace and movement.
Andy H
one word. PAYBACK. 5-0 to the good guys after what they did to us last season
underboyleheating
Another tough match, Hamilton have goals in them, however, hopefully we can score one more than them. 3-2 Motherwell.
Spiderpig
Not to bothered what the score is as long as we win and keep our run going, that said it would be nice to pump them on their own midden, we are due a result at NDP as it has not been a happy hunting ground in recent seasons. Kmcalpin
I'm being greedy and want to see us give them a bit of a hammering as payback. Is that being unreasonable? Bottom line though is that a single goal victory would do us just fine. It won't be easy though.

milo
I would be disappointed with anything other than a win to be honest. That doesn't sit well with me but they don't look great and we look much better than we had previously. Fingers crossed!

Desp
We've been playing well recently, but I still feel we're due to dish out an absolute tanking to somebody. I'd much rather it was against Accies than Cove Rangers. I'll settle for 6-0.
Big Wispy Flossy
Conceeded 12 in last 4 and 0 points from 12 though Knew they were in bad form but not quite that bad. Only means one thing - away win!

The African
Any kind of win will do. We are on a decent run and need to keep it going. Given how close we are in the league, this takes on the"six pointer" tag.
Yassin
If we win, we go 5 points clear with a game in hand. Pretty big advantage at this stage of the year if we can pull it off.
Ya Bezzer!
one word. PAYBACK. 5-0 to the good guys after what they did to us last season This. Last years New Years match was maybe an all time low for me and I'm now into my 4th decade of supporting Motherwell! Really looking forward to this one, and Cove Rangers match to be fair. texanwellfan
Nice to se us ahead of them in the league like it should be :-) So hopefully we give them a hammering to boost our goal difference but i'll take any kind of win to be honest. Andy_P
Just win. That is all. 1-0 or 10-0 just get the three points and send them over the road with their tails between their legs. In a sense I was pleased to see both McGhee and Flow when speaking to Ripley refer to, or at least attempt to put some importance on the derby element of the fixture. Clearly for us a game against Accies isn't and never will be akin to a derby game against Airdrie but I do wonder at times when its obvious that Accies fans and their team treat games against us as the most important of their season, if that underplaying the importance has contributed to our desperate performances against them because we've rarely come close to matching their intensity and desire to win. So perhaps no bad thing in my mind that the fixture is being talked up at Fir Park.
superward
Interesting point Andy P and maybe something in it. For me I don't really get that worked up when we play Accies or Airdrie. I just don't see them as 'proper' derbies/rivalries as in the most part since I started watching us in the early 90s we haven't really played them regularly. More relevantly we have obviously played Accies more but still does not really do it for me. That said I would like to dish out a proper humping. Probably go with the same team. Can't argue with the way we are going about business. Would be nice to have a cushion with 20 to go and maybe see Thomas and Faddy.

So perhaps no bad thing in my mind that the fixture is being talked up at Fir Park. I had this conversation with someone the other day. I think there is definitely something in this, added to the fact that no matter how often they finish ahead of us we'll always be seen as the big team in Lanarkshire, gives them some sort of underdog mentality that seems to fire them up maybe more than our players (and fans, frankly). It's their big game, it's not ours...
