Andy_P
Yes, we could. As could Thistle and Queen of the South be drawn together again also.
Toxteth O'Grady
We'll get one of the following teams... Aberdeen, Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Alloa, Partick Thistle, Rangers or Morton.
1991
I would love another trip to Morton and pump them this time
ropy
We aren't pumping teams at the moment despite recent score lines, I take it Morton beat a premiership team, was it Accies? I do think we can take them tho.

daver
Partick please. Reasonable pubs around and, from a purely selfish point of view, it's my closest ground.
steelboy
Partick please. Reasonable pubs around and, from a purely selfish point of view, it's my closest ground. Given our rank record at Firhill you can get the train to Alloa.
Welldaft Mk1
In order of (obvious) preference Alloa, Morton, Patrick The rest and we will probably struggle, especially Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen. At least we are in the draw unlike Dundee, Killie and County.
milo
I fear we'll get Rangers again!
Burn_Broomfield
I fear we'll get Rangers again! Maybe next time we'll have our shooting boots on...
Lobey_Dosser
If it's Rangers hopefully it's at Ibrox so we can make some decent cash. Personally, I don't think teams qualifying from the same group should be able to play each other but so be it.
Kmcalpin
Maybe next time we'll have our shooting boots on... I hope so, but in the recent game at Fir Park our defence and midfield was awful. Although we could have scored 9 they could have scored 12. Now that would have been some scoreline!
Yassin
Away to Celtic.

Welldaft Mk1
Worst draw we could have had. Might get some cash but that is all
Lobey_Dosser
Wee windfall for the club if the Celtic support turns up.

wellowell
Celtic away don't get any harder but at least we will make some money
mwellhighland
Bring it on whilst they fanny about with glamour friendlies and getting pumped out champions league. 2-1 Well
Andy_P
First reaction meh......I suppose though they'll have priorities with their European campaign and their money spinning European friendlies so the League Cup will be down their list of priorities at that particular time of the season. Motherwell on penalties.
Shotts Well Fan
Shite fucking draw. Will we ever get a break!!!
Richie
We'd likely need to beat them at some point in the competition. May as well do it now
Yassin
Shite fucking draw. Will we ever get a break!!! To be fair, we got two lower league teams in this competition last year.
Tweed
To be fair, we got two lower league teams in this competition last year. We were seeded, it was impossible not to the first time and just about impossible not to the second time. If you want to make a few bob this is a good draw. If you want to win it, it is a rotten draw. Unless you think Celtic in the midst of a Champions League qualifying campaign will see this as being well down their priority list may just rest a few, it could be the right time to get them. Some daemons from May 15th to be got rid of!
Lobey_Dosser
If Celtic win in CL this week, you'd expect them to rest a good few. Albeit Christie and co ripped us apart in May. The concern for us is that our options upfront are limited with injuries and we have nothing creative in midfield.
