capt_oats
Now they reckon there is a 10% sell on clause... http://www.kidderminstershuttle.co.uk/sport/14674161.Kidderminster_Harriers_manager_wanting_improvement_for_Chorley_clash/ They've changed their tune: "Brown said "Unfortunately there was no sell-on clause put in Marvin's deal when he went to Motherwell. He was out of contract at the end of the season and I believe there was a sense that his sale was rushed just to bring in some money at the time."" http://www.worcesternews.co.uk/sport/13329868.No_cash_injection_for_Kidderminster_Harriers_if_Marvin_Johnson_seals_move/
middleeastdave
It has gone very quiet again about possibly Marvin's move, personally I would like the club to cash in with the player, provided it is the correct valuation, or does anyone think it would be better to hold on to him, until The January transfer window or beyond, what I would worry about is his form which might dip especially being in an average Motherwell side? CrosshillWell
I think Marvin is one of the few players that might rescue some points for us. We really don't have anot get left sided midfielder or forward, unless Thomas actually steps up o McGee slots, or the love of God, Chalmers in there! weeyin
If we lose Marvin, I'm pretty sure we'll sign a left-sided replacement.
Ya Bezzer!
If we lose Marvin, I'm pretty sure we'll sign a left-sided replacement. Gary Mackay-Steven available so they say. BTW Greg Stewart, who I think is a superior player to Johnson, went down south for £500,000.

Re Stewart; the thing in our favour is that Johnson has an extra year on his contract, that pushes up his value. Stewart's contract situation forced Dundee's hand. The chances of us getting a £1million for Johnson, as has been quoted in places, would be very slim I would think though. Onthefringes
If we lose Marvin, I'm pretty sure we'll sign a left-sided replacement. I'm not. Expect another ex-player though

I can only name Murphy as a left sided, ex-player who would fit the bill! Doubt we could afford the couple million Brighton would demand

MelvinBragg
If you read Onthefringes post carefully, you'll see he says that he's not sure we'll sign a left sided replacement but does expect us to sign a former player so doesn't limit the field to left sided former players... underboyleheating
I think Paul Slane is looking for a club! Sadly the sort of club he is looking for is not available at Fir Park.
dinnae-punt-it
I'm not. Expect another ex-player though I'll chuck 3 other names into the ring: Liam Grimshaw Jim O'Brien Alan McCormack
capt_oats
If we're just chucking names about I'll nominate Giles Coke. Either he's injured or he's totally out the picture at Ipswich from the looks of things and in the last year of his deal. "Could do a job" etc.

Lobey_Dosser
Grimshaw was the one that came to mind. He appears to be starting for Preston though, while Humphrey tends to be a sub. Sadly can't think of any ex creative midfielders, competent left backs or decent goalkeepers that would be available.

ML1
Thankfully O'Brien signed a 2 yr deal with Shrewsbury in the summer. He'll probably be available on a free in January though
