Reports of David Turnbull being linked to a move to West Ham and that they’ve offered £9m while Celtic are holding out for £11m. Would be a great move for him and a great pay day for Motherwell if there is a reputed 10-20% sell on clause.

Can’t believe west ham would haggle over 2 million. Chicken feed to them.  Just pay the 11 million and take him. Done!

West Ham's recent financials:

"WH Holding Ltd has announced its financial results for the year ending 31 May 2021.

The Club reports a net loss before tax of £26.9m, a decrease of £38.4m from the loss of £65.3m in 2019-20."

If they sell Rice and Soucek as seems likely, they could buy Turnbull with the loose change. Losses of £27m are only a slight inconvenience in the Premier League. It's a different world thanks to Sky and sponsor deals.

They surely made a boatload of cash this year from reaching Europa league semi final

If EPL clubs were run like normal businesses, they should.

However, the strategy of most EPL clubs seems to be that if your revenue increases by 30% you need to increase your spending by 45%.

Hope Robbo  signs Aaron Chapman next for his experience and wealth of football abilities in goal.

On Gallagher he was a disgrace when we were on our knees, didn't give a fuk that season couldn't wait to get  his move so nothing gave me greater pleasure than to see his move to Aberdeen fail and I hope he has another mare at St Mirren.

Gallagher was great for us in his first season but a disinterested disgrace in his second. It’s some fall from grace for him from being involved in the Scotland squad to failing at Aberdeen and joining St.Mirren as part of Robinson’s job for the ex Well boys signing policy.

Sadly money is the king in football…… in a short career where some very untalented players get far more of a wage than deserved persons who are saving life’s etc etc…but a tremendous fall from grace

Big Dec will have probably got a payment from the Dons to terminate his contract and a cracking deal in Paisley……..and there’s young Jake …..financially secure for the rest of his life on the back of a 3 month purple patch at FP

Big Dec can also go back to The Parkville Panthers baseball team

Young Jake has finally left Ibrox having never made a single appearance for Rangers, he's signed for Hartlepool, even in league 2 he's probably still on a decent wage, he's had 8 clubs in 6 years and scored a total of 12 goals in total, its good work if you can get it.

Donnelly linked with killie. I'm surprised, as he seemed a perfect for for the other stripey team.

Interesting to see Gallagher linking up with Robinson and a bunch of his old 'well teammates again. Maybe it will all work out fine and Robbo will find his mojo again, or maybe there will be a fair amount of banter.
