I have no doubt he’d be a stand out at junior/amateur level.

Well-Made
Jack McMillan involved for Exter tonight against Forest, with Jack Aitchison on the bench. Been a good game, Exeter down to 10 men going into extra-time. So still time for AItchison to come on as Forest needed to use a concussion sub on 90 minutes. They had just announced 10 minutes injury time, the game was held up for 10 minutes before that was played.

Exeter did incredibly well to take it to pens, but not too hot in the shoot out.
couttsy
Ross Tierney scoring the winner and getting man of the match for Bohemians vs Shamrock Rovers. Pity we didn’t give him enough time to adjust and break through, thought he had something about him.

He had his chance, the occasional good game but for me he was not that good, so he would probably be a regular starter in the current team. fizoxy
Tierney was injured for a huge chunk of his time with us and when he was out on loan, and seems to have landed at his level. He had the knack of getting on the end of things on the box, but was anonymous in midfield.

Another one we will need to look after thru a long rehabilitation. Do the football gods not know Ketts has left and his bad luck isnt transferrable? wellfan Posted yesterday at 02:10 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 02:10 PM Cammy Murray died yesterday. Following his footballing career, he became a local legend in Lanarkshire, teaching PE to generations of kids at Lanark Grammar.

sinjy Posted yesterday at 03:08 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 03:08 PM Cammy was a real gentleman. He was so pleasant and easy going. I got to know him in the late sixties when I was a reserve player and Cammy drove me to training. I met him a few times in Hamilton and he was always up for a chat. He had a mountain of stories from his long career in the game. He once told me that one of the best things he did in football was to get a leave of absence from his work (he was a PE teacher and part time coach at Fir Park) so that he could be involved in the preparations for the 1991 cup final when he worked along with Tommy McLean and Tom Forsyth. I'm so sad to hear of his passing.

mio Posted yesterday at 04:27 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:27 PM I was fortunate to know Cammy and his family and it’s a really sad loss. An absolute gentleman and a guy who would always have time for you. He was well respected at every side he represented as we can see from the genuine messages of condolences online from st mirren and Arbroath. Rest in peace Cammy.
