steelboy
It will be hilarious if Hibs don't come up with the squad they have built.
underboyleheating
It will be hilarious if Hibs don't come up with the squad they have built. If promoted, they probably won’t start with the same squad, however, their transfer budget will dwarf ours.
milo
A bit sad to see Humphrey sign for another Scottish club! I mean, I'll get over it, but he grew into a fantastic player for us. A bit surprised to see him go to the Scottish first division when he surely could've went to another Chsmpionship or League 1 team in England. But it dwarfed ours the season they were relegated.

steelboy
Another penalty defeat to Accies would probably be my preference.
Villageman
If its a choice between Accies and Hibs for the Premier League then I'll take Hibs. Accies should go back to where amateur setups belong.

daver
A bit sad to see Humphrey sign for another Scottish club! Did he not have a family with a local girl when he was here? That may have had a bearing on any decision. Of course, it also depends on which clubs were interested.
Wellarmy
Put Ainsworth in the team Humphrey played in and he would look a lot better. We've been constantly toiling during his four seasons. Like the year we finished second?
Kmcalpin
Humphrey was a far better defender than Ainsworth. However despite his talents and pace I wouldn't take him back.

Lobey_Dosser
We didn't play much football that season. 2012/13 with Law, Higdon and Ojamaa? That was one of our best ever teams.
superward
In short: We don't need another right mid currently anyway. Ainsworth and Humphrey both hot and cold. Ainsworth more productive going forward than Humph Humphrey better defending than Ainsworth. Ainsworth and Humphrey won't be here come start of next season.
steelboy
2012/13 with Law, Higdon and Ojamaa? That was one of our best ever teams. The following season with Hollis, Nielsen and Twadrzik in goals. The contracts McCall gave out that summer put us in a hole we are yet to climb out of. Looking back at the results we had some good performances but also a lot of awful ones (two pumpings by Dundee Utd, Celtic on the Friday night, Albion Rovers). Sorry got you, I misinterpreted that you were referring to a Humphrey team rather than Ainsworth. In entire agreement that the summer of 2013/14 (e.g. Lawson signed while McCall talking to Sheffield Utd) set us back some way despite somehow finishing 2nd. A bit surprised to see him go to the Scottish first division when he surely could've went to another Chsmpionship or League 1 team in England. Hibs have been getting 15,000 crowds week in, week out. A lot more than they did struggling in the Premiership.
Ya Bezzer!
Last minute own goal from Josh Law leaves Robinson/Baraclough bottom of League 1. On a related topic, I see Lee Erwin is top league goal scorer at Oldham.....with 2 goals in 21 matches. History will vindicate me.
