weeyin
Jake Hastie on as a sub to replace Jamie Murphy in the Ayr Utd game this evening. Murphy had a good game, Hastie didn't do much.

pretzel
I know Hastie had a purple patch for us but I thought he would have at least been able to maintain playing at a decent enough level. I don't know if it was a confidence thing or what but his direct running in that inverted winger role was a joy to watch but when he came back on loan I don't think we seen any of that. 25 year old and I think he has served 10 clubs. It was nice to see Murphy play well, flashback to when we had a wealth of creativity in our squad.

Robinson knew how to get the best out of Hastie, but wingers seems to have gone out of fashion in recent years. He may well have had a better career if he had stayed on at Fir Park for another season - or he may have faded once the opposition figured him out. Brown looks like he wants to play 2 wide men at Ayr, so if he can kickstart his career anywhere it might be at Somerset Park.
steelboy
Callum Lang got a double including the winner on his debut for Portsmouth. Slightly better than his debut for us..... We had some decent talent in the squad during that Covid season but Robinson seemed to lose the plot onwards from the incident where he got lifted. Edit - Finished 3-3

Kris-A-Goalda
Rohan Ferguson saved two pens in the shootout as Larne went through to Conference League playoff, seeing off Balkani. Earned Larne just under 1 million Euro doing so.
weeyin
I see Theo started for Auxerre today in their first game of the season. He didn't score, but they won 2 -1.

Hopefully signifies more game time and potentially a move next year. Fingers crossed for him.

grizzlyg
Watched hearts game, where he obviously is a big loss to us, I see Spittal's set pieces and deliveries were usual poor standard

weeyin
I was too busy laughing at Michael Stewart banging on about how "this team are there for taking" Not by this Hearts team, Michael. They were even worse than they were at Fir Park.

Spittal was fantastic for us over the piece but come January it wouldn't surprise me to see the likes of St Mirren, Killie and ourselves trying to get him on loan. 1
mio
As much as it might annoy people with me praising kettlewell, but its arguable that spittal has played his best football under him. Spittal did well under him at Ross county and earned himself a move to us (after failing a bit previously at Dundee Utd) he was rank rotten with us under Alexander and then worse under Hammell and then became one of our most important players under kettlewell again. by all accounts he’s been rotten so far at hearts. To be fair I’ve only seen him last week against us and I didn’t see him do anything until they pulled a goal back and then he was whipped off. i don’t blame him for going and getting his move as I’m sure he’s on a good wedge but I agree I think we’ll see him out on loan to someone else next year.
