gullane
Louis Moult rumoured to be heading to Aberdeen. I hope he has a good pre-season and stays at Preston.

Seems strange after they gave him the number 9 shirt this season. Aberdeen do love a 'Well player/manager though.

steelboy
Maclean and McHugh score for Morton. Hastie won a penalty and apparently played well against Dundee United. The crowd at Tannadice was 1659 which shows what can happen when you let standards slip.

I’m sure I read that injuries had caught up with him and his pace had went. Lets be honest, he would never have been a footballer had he not been lightening quick! The arse end of the McCall era was a complete disaster for building our squad. About half the guys he signed are playing non league and the almost all the rest are playing lower league or retired. Erwin and Ainsworth are the only two at a decent level.
weeyin
Aye, let's not underestimate the benefit of the updated scouting structure that Les had put in place as one of the requirements of his loan.
Dezz
I see that Preston’s two main strikers from last season have been ruled out fairly long terms with injuries picked up in pre-season. Huge opportunity now for Louis Moult to step up and make a name for himself there... Or Preston will just splurge millions on someone new cos English football. Cumbaeyabas
Recently started working in Hull. In discussing Stuart Elliott (the only obvious connection for myself), the guys say that he is now a priest, and his only other 'option' would have been a terrorist'. Totally unsubstantiated, and, if posted before, apologies. Off topic: great city, so far. Like all UK and Irish port cities I have visited, to be fair.... 1

That's the inference, but, perhaps no dice if I ask for more details as most sport chat is Rugby League, or how much of a hero Dean Windass is/was; there's even a mural of him on one of the factory walls.....
