steelboy
Moult got injured between scoring the four goals and the Thistle game. He might have said he was ok to play but it was obvious at the game he wasn't and was basically a man down for his time on the park. Â Hopefully he will be fully fit for Friday. superward
In regards Moult - it's always a tough one when injuries are such that the player isn't completely incapacitated and declares himself fit. Sometimes the gamble pays off and sometimes it does not. He took injections to play waiting for thr op as it wouldn't make it any worse. Scored a couple at Annan...Probably worked out. Worked against Hamilton. Probably not at Thistle... Â As for Clay. It reminds me much of Johnson at first. He was done after an hour for a good while after when we signed him. Took him a good 2 or 3 months to get his match fitness up to last near 90. Clay needs game time to get there but it will come. All depends on the individual player - Moult made the step up in fitness quickly, as has Tait. Johnson took time and it looks like Clay will. Â Faddy does look overweight. But when does he actually train if he is taking training? Â Skippy and Hammell like you say have always carried a bit of weight. If only they had the body, work ethic and metabolism of Las! weeyin
Skippy's tactic seems to be miss preseason while negotiating a new deal then not get fully fit until November. Still happy to have him in the team, though. Â McFadden, I'm not too concerned about as he is only ever going to be a bit-part player at best. wellowell
We are 3 to 1 with Ladbrokes on Friday seems a bit high to me
Ya Bezzer!
Â In the Accies game we started without a left mid which would give Paterson and Nicholson a free run at Hammell which isn't happening. In the Thistle game McDonald was terrible at left midfield so I doubt we will see that again. Â It's worrying that we've signed 10 players this summer and Chalmers might be the best option if he's fit (and since McGhee doesn't seem bothered about who's fit and who's not these days he might even play if he's still injured). Â Don't know if you've noticed but we don't have a midfield. Who are you going to put in there to counter Paterson and Nicholson? Chalmers is better on the ball than off it and can't defend for toffee. Â We are at our best when we take the game to the opposition. You can have us set up conventionally and have a Dundee level performance where we have no punch whatsoever or you can have us set up offensively and at least we'll score a goal or two. Â Hearts have some decent players but they aren't some terrifying juggernaut like you suggest.
superwell87
Will settle for a point from this game. 2-2.
Kmcalpin
We'll be heading off for the game in the next hour or so. The injury list seems pretty much the same as last week but you can never really tell until the team is announced. Hopefully tonight our midfield will put in a performance lasting more than half an hour. This will be a critical area of the field for us. Â COYW.
steelboy
Heard on the radio that the M8 is shut due to a crash which might effect the crowd. Â Motherwell was gridlocked as well because a kit car crashed on the dual carriageway but that shouldn't take long to clear.

weeyin
What's he saying?! He was pointing out that for his last month at the club, Marvin's GPS stats were way down and he didn't conduct his transfer very professionally. Said he expected more from a senior professional. Â He also added that he was disappointed with his comments to the media and "glad he was gone".
one m in motherwell
Marvin never struck me as the brightest tool in the box - with an agent whispering in his ear for presumably a number of months, Craggs' comments are no surprise. Â I still want to know the full story about Nathan Thomas...
GazzyB
That's a quality save. Good game so far!

GazzyB
Hearts growing into the game, hopefully we can get to half time without conceding. Â In the Flying Scotsman in Alcudia with a few Well and Hearts fans.
GazzyB
What a fucking shambles of a goal. Samson with a total flap, Lasley I think with a horrible ball out and McManus not reacting quick enough. Â Fuck sake.
