milo
Delighted for Cadden as it will obviously mean a lot to him but I wouldn’t watch the national team if they were playing out the back! Hendry and Morgan being the 2 latest ridiculous call ups.

He would benefit, both himself and the Club, with the summer off for a change. Not ideal, but better this than playing during an international break and getting injured before an important league game.
wee alphie
Congratulations to him on the call up. Hopefully he'll have to withdraw to play in the Europa league qualifiers.
joewarkfanclub
Delighted for Cadds. Hopefully the first of many young Motherwell players picked for Scotland in the next few years.
grizzlyg
can we not just be happy that one of our players has got a Scotland call-up? get him on extended contract and it bumps up his value. Guy is a well legend and way he loves the club is a credit to him
CoF
Absolutely fantastic for Cadden and the club. If that's not an inspiration to the others coming through the Academy then I don't know what is.
The African
Always delighted when one of our players gets international recognition. We have had plenty in the past who have deserved it and yet somehow missed out, so it would be churlish not to be pleased for the lad. Hopefully he does well, gets a cap or two and adds a couple of hundred grand to his value.

wee alphie
Is it not 13th July for Scottish Cup winners? He'll need a rest after the celebrations too.

Cup winners go into the 2nd qualifying round. So that's 26th July and 2nd August.

Totally agree, but I always thought he was a Well fan, which made him even more special. Was just surprised to hear he wasn’t as he has been with us since he was 9 I think. Wellfan1984
Campbell best player on the park for Scotland yesterday. Although it wouldn't be hard. Gemmell and MacKay can get to fuck though. Last two games draws with Andorra and Togo
steelboy
Gemmell makes Steve Robinson look like Pep Guardiola. You can make case for the senior team's switch to all out shitfesting we are about to see under McLeish but what do we gain from the u21s constantly punting long balls? Cataclysmic change, and thats what we require, must start at the top but recently Ian Maxwell announced that he doesn't see any benefit in the SFA and SPFL merging. That tells me that we'll keep on making the same mistakes for years to come.
