Kmcalpin
There must be an element of competition and scoring inherent in the proposals surely? What if say 18 academies meet the qualifying criteria? As Superward and the good Captain say however, the devil will be in the detail. We as fans, don't know the detail behind the headlines. If the proposal is put to a vote no doubt there will be the traditional SFA/SPFL horse trading and backroom deals with other totally unrelated issues being dragged into the negotiations. It would be interesting to get Alan Burrows' interpretation of the "revised" proposals. Does anyone know the full list of academies in the current 29 club set up? Can't seem to find it anywhere. Goggles & Flippers
Wouldn't the current top U20's league show you that immediately? Doubt there would be many in that without an academy to justify a U20 squad.
steelboy
There are academies that aren't attached to clubs eg Highland, Forth, Fife. Good news though and the club played this well in the media. Good work by Burrows and McGhee.

Tweed
Basically they're doing what I said they should on here about five weeks ago. Perhaps someone could ask Flow where in the SFA I send my invoice?
Stu
We as fans, don't know the detail behind the headlines. I'd be willing to bet that the SFA don't know either...
Kmcalpin
Any update on the club's view of the "revised" proposals? Papers are reporting that Malky Mackay is saying all clubs are now behind the proposals or words to that effect.
Well-Made
I noticed from the Well Society newsletter link to the board meeting that the club needed to indicate if it was bidding for a place in the Elite League by March 31st. So far I haven't seen anything to confirm if this was done or not, anyone have any knowledge of this?

Brazilian
Rangers have obtained permission to withdraw from Development league next season..... its the last season of development league their academy boss was part of Project Brave working group , their team will take part in cups and arranged 'cross border games' some of the spin on it on Rangers website https://rangers.co.uk/news/academy-news/academy-launches-games-programme/
Del_Superwell
We were involved in a meeting with 13 other clubs at firhill the other week, who are objecting to certain things proposed about Project Brave. Hamilton had been invited to the meeting but declined as apparently project brave is one of their ideas.

weeyin
Not sure if it's accurate, but I heard one of the conditions was that we need something like 5 full time people currently dedicated to coaching the youngsters.
