seasonal
MFC CT have tonight accepted the resignation of Ladies first team coach Mark Kirk. All my dealings with Mark Kirk were positive and I found him to be a genuine guy, Wishing him all the best for the future, No game for the Ladies team until a home game v Hearts on 16 April. @ALR57
Optimus Prime
I don't know much about our Ladies team but clearly something hasn't been right behind the scenes. Promotion was always going to mean a challenge in facing higher standards but there do seem to have been off the field issues, whatever they were. Maybe this will allow the team to regroup and move forward?
seasonal
Spot on that things are clearly not right behind the scenes at Motherwell Ladies/MFC CT. Mark Kirk worked very hard behind the scenes to build this team despite various obstacles being placed in his way. It is now clear he was dismissed as Head Coach. Why are there no Sponsorship opportunities similar to those organised by other clubs? Why do players have to make their own way to all games ? There appears to be no ambition from the MFC CT to invest in the Ladies team to play at the highest level. I find this disappointing as a Motherwell FC supporter that a Ladies team representing my club appears to not be organised or supported to play at the highest level. In no way is this the fault of the ex Head Coach or the players. I have asked MFC CT what the interim management position is. No response. My own opinion. @ALR57
