Big Wispy Flossy
Have you watched him try to outrun jump or shoot ? He would struggle in the Championship Lots of effort , granted. For the avoidance of doubt, the Scottish championship?
weeyin
Have you watched him try to outrun jump or shoot ? He would struggle in the Championship Lots of effort , granted. I have. He fitted in perfectly with the ability levels of most of our squad this season.

weeyin
I really enjoyed the Utd v Falkirk first leg. The problem all these Championship playoff teams face is that, as well a number of games in a short space of time at the end of the season, they haven't played teams of Premiership quality during their campaigns. As a result, players lose that small edge you get from playing at the higher level every week. The Permiership players are used to being closed down quicker, having less opportunities to score in a game and less time to make decisions on the ball. If it was a one-off Final like they have down south, the Championship teams would have a better chance, but I still fancy Accies or ICT will beat either Utd or Falkirk over 2 legs. Both played well this week. Telt ye!
Kmcalpin
Telt ye! No huge surprise Weeyin. Dundee United are not as good as their fans and many media pundits would have us believe. Theres also a misconception amongst many too that the better Championship clubs are better than lower end Premiership clubs. In one off games maybe but not in two legged ties or over the course of a season. Big decision time now at Tannadice, the home of good football. Fortunately nothing to do with us. weeyin
No surprise to us, but some posters had Utd and Falkirk as favourites to win. Once again, however, a season of top flight games gives the Premiership team a significant edge over two legs. Would have been happy if Utd were promoted, but shows again how difficult it is to get out of the Championship as, in effect, only one team ever comes up. daver
I think Accies have been the only Championship team to win a play-off but that was maybe more down to Hibs in freefall.
Andy_P
So three Premiership play-off wins for Lanarkshire teams then? What a county.... Given the choice between them and Inverness for personal reasons I wasn't too fussed either way but for ease of getting there and the derby element definitely happier they won rather than Dundee Utd. It's becoming something of an amusing annual tradition seeing United fans all tears and snotters on the telly. And like St Mirren, Dunfermline and Hibs another stark reminder if ever one was really needed or what potentially awaits if the worst were to happen. Yassin
Accies stay up by the skin of their teeth every season, gifting us 8+ points along the way seems like an ideal scenario imo.
BigWeegieDosser
Hibs bought their way out the division And Celtic bought their title And one legged ducks swim rounds in circles In other news, we all p*ss with the cock we're holding. The secret is to learn to p*ss further than others with one the same size...
