fizoxy
I think having the likes of McLean, fisher, Plummer and bowman available off the bench is such an improvement over last year. Particularly since we're still a couple of signings light and Frear is injured. Great result, this is the kind of game that can really get a new team going.
eddiemunster
If Cadden, MacLean and Bigirimana can regularly chip in with goals from midfield then this could be a decent season. The chalky chuff of a rarely lubed Jap's eye
grizzlyg
After going down 10 men the lads Dunne well!!!! Taxi for grizzlyg
Toxteth O'Grady
The Aberdeen game will be 19-21 September according to https://spfl.co.uk/key-dates/
Lobey_Dosser
Didn't have the chance to follow game but good to hear we squeezed through. Well done Motherwell, wee bit of glory for MacLean a bonus. Aberdeen game should be a nice little earner.
daver
Great result when up against it. Are we the first team to use the four sub rule or has someone used it in an earlier round?
fizoxy
Ross county did. Was it not the same rule last year?
Well Up For It!
Awesome result. Feared the worst at start of extra time, almost took it for granted we were out at 2-2 and down to 10 men. Delighted to be proved wrong. Solid character from the boys. Hopefully give us a bit of momentum for Saturday.
Neilwell86
Being probably the of the round, I'd expect ours to be one of the games chosen for tv, so another wee cash injection on top of what we already are due to receive.
stv
Well done the manager creating a team with a bit of guts.
ropy
Great result when up against it. Are we the first team to use the four sub rule or has someone used it in an earlier round? No extra time in the earlier rounds, County used their 4th sub before we did, did any of yesterday's games go to extra time? Eta, Dylan Mackin was a 4th sub last night, Falkirk had used theirs first. Donaldo87
The Aberdeen game will be 19-21 September according to https://spfl.co.uk/key-dates/ Bet ye it gets picked for the Thursday. To then be followed by Aberdeen at home on the Sunday.
gilmour
Will the doubters get off Robinsons back now ? He said this season would be different and it already is. We finally have a team of battlers.
mwellhighland
Aren't gate receipts split? Always thought that was the case in the cups.

Yassin
Doubt it'll be on TV with both the Old Firm away to Premiership opposition, one of which will no doubt be marketed as a "Glasgow Derby". Still, hopefully lead to an increased crowd actually at the game.
Welldaft Mk1
Being probably the of the round, I'd expect ours to be one of the games chosen for tv, so another wee cash injection on top of what we already are due to receive. Doubt it with both Celtic and Rangers being away to Dundee and Partick respectively. I admit it I was a pant wetter tonite. Too many times we have lost leads, but after performance on Saturday and tonite I am starting to think Robbo may have put together a side that will provide us with more ups than downs and a big improvement on last season. Going to Perth on Saturday at what has been a tough ground in recent times. Another positive result and we can start to believe :-)
Ballso
Bet ye it gets picked for the Thursday. To then be followed by Aberdeen at home on the Sunday. I'm pretty sure that 3 of the quarter final ties are televised in this tournament. The only thing that may stop them picking our game is that BT are already covering the league game on the Sunday. wellowell
I'm sure last season 3 of the 4 Quarters were on Tv over Tuesday , Wednesday , and Thursday but may be wrong but agree if 1 or 2 on will be old firm .
Ballso
BT have 13 games to show: - 6 group games - 1 Round of 16 - 3 quarter finals - 2 semi finals - Final
ECOSSE1991
The 1/4 final tie with Aberdeen now gives us 6 home games out of 7 between 19th Aug - 30 Sep.
wellowell
Surely we will be on the Thursday then as playing Aberdeen on the Sunday again so would make sense ,surely they won't pick a Hibs romp against Livi
Donaldo87
Fair enough. With it being the old firm on the Saturday I guess it's between us and Hibs for the Thursday slot. Anyone able to comment on Carson's save near the end? The club twitter made it sound like a worldy.
grizzlyg
I believe Carson's save was a cracker!!! It's the way I tell em!! Anyone under 30 will have no idea what I am on about
Katie
At 2-2 with 10 men I was convinced we were heading out, so obviously I'm delighted with the full-time result! Impossible to know for sure, but I think we would have lost that match with last year's team.
