I haven't had an opportunity to watch the press conference yet but the summary on the BBC Sport Scotland site provides a succinct response from Robinson along the lines of "We're not dirty. We're hard, we're physical, we're aggressive; and you'll know you've been in a game against us." Says all their needs saying in my view.

Looking at it from a slightly different perspective though. This season we've talked of how we've lost games in our heads against Rangers over the years. How we struggled to get the mindset right to deal with Hearts physicality in the eighties and nineties (you could add in Hearts MKII in Airdrie).

Leaving the Final aside aside how many players and opposition teams who don't have our current mentality will go in to games against us with those very same mental deficiencies we displayed against those teams because all they've heard and read about is this team that's fired up to kick fuck out of them on the park. How many will shit it the first time Allan Campbell or Hartley come steaming in hard early doors?

There's an advantage as well as a disadvantage of having a rep for being a strong physical side.

I'm personally quite pleased at all this. It creates an us and them mentality and makes the squad a whole lot tighter. If people think we're only a kicking team then they will get a shock we also have playmakers that can hurt them. I'm a bit reminded of the Wimbledon crazy gang team and how successful they were when no one rated them

There's a lot of shite being talked about Moult being lucky he got booked.

If you watch the incident Alves did his old trick of studs in the back at the high ball then kicked Louis on the ground. Louis is on his back and kicks his legs forward a bit towards Alves but makes no contact. Alves then starts holding his face then Moult jumps up and tells him to cut it out which he does. Then Herrera runs in and throws him to the ground. The end.

What exactly has he done wrong there?

That. If the ref decided there was intent in "kicking his legs towards Alves", which was quite possible given he'd just been on the receiving end of an attempted assault, he could have been in big trouble, contact or not.

This Saturday is our last weekend home game until 23rd December which is astonishing nearly 2 full months with no weekend home game certainly paying for home games weve had so far .

has Celtic not been rearranged for the 29th November at home? Resulting in us playing them 3 times in 6 days.

Robinson also likely to be pulled infront of the disciplinary panel now.

Feckin joke

No surprise there, he said he was expecting to be hearing from them in this morning's press conference. If he gets the same one-match ban that Caixinha's likely to be getting, I'm sure we'll cope.

If Robinson gets banned it's an absolute joke. The whole thing was started by Pedro losing the rag and storming out his technical area into ours. At no point did Robbo leave his area to remonstrate with Pedro or the officials.

Yes, there was a bit of a shouting match between the two managers but Pedro was quite clearly the instigator and far more animated/aggressive in his body language.

Gordon Dalziel on Clyde also makes that argument. He's a Numpty as well...

Craigan suggested its down to the language used, which Robinson has previously been done for.

*shrug* Doesn't seem like it should be a big surprise to anyone that kicking your legs around another player on the ground is sometimes going to get you a card. But in this case it didn't, so it's all good.

It was a tiny movement and there was no contact. Any card for it would be absurd, especially since it was pretty obvious Alves was trying to get him sent off.

Listening to Clyde - didn't realise we needed 3 days of national mourning after a Rangers defeat. Alves offered a two match ban has taken this to a whole new level.

Clip of Robinson just played there - the only one talking any sense amongst all this. Bowman has had 3 yellow cards in 46 odd appearances and 9 in his 5 year career.
