milo
Long before the ref lost the plot the defending was still criminal and that's what cost us. Â Need to see the Carson red to see if he was outside the box but completely avoidable. McHughs wasn't even a foul! Dunne was stupid and far to reckless with his challenge. Â Real pressure on us even at this stage to stop the rot next week now.
Ya Bezzer!
A disgraceful display. And clowns in our support clap them off the pitch. Â You might say mediocrity was the acceptable norm at this club but that would make us better than we are.
MelvinBragg
Lack of discipline? Be interested to see each of the decisions to see if they were justified. Â Concerned that we're conceding a penalty a game. Not helping ourselves. A lot of talk from those within the club that hard work and commitment are things "you get for free". Concern would be the things we're giving away for free...
Andy H
Down to 9 men and still outplaying the Saintees. Fucking right they were clapped off the park

steelboy
You think you've seen it all until you see a Motherwell team get horsed 4-1 by St Johnstone then get cheered off the park.
grizzlyg
If fans are happy to pay to go to Perth and see their team get beat 4-1, finish with 8 men and clap them off the park we are as well chucking in the towel now. Get Campbell and McLean in for next week

postiejim
Down to 9 men and still outplaying the Saintees. Fucking right they were clapped off the park The Saintees as you call them controlled the game from the start, they hardly broke sweat ,they let us run about like headless chickens and picked us off at leisure. DEWELL
Probably the most disastrous 90 minutes motherwell have been involved in for many a year. Glad we've no midweek game as we'll need a full clear week to get this debacle out of our system
fizoxy
Ref had noting to do with them being 2 up from their only 2 attacks in the first half. Commentary said Carson decision was right, but the others not so much. Either way, we were shite and the ref made it worse, and maybe gave a few folk an excuse.

A very bad day at the office but 2 games in its not that important, onwards and upwards for RC next week.
Heisenboab
Did Thomson pick our team as well? Who would you have started? Â First goal was a fluke. Second a great bit of play by O'Hallaran. What the fuck we meant to do when two players get sent off wrongly?
texanwellfan
Not seen it but either way hardly sounds like DELIBERATE hand ball if there is a question of it being out the box or not? So surely a yellow at most?
MelvinBragg
Seem to be having a lot of possession in games without converting any chances. No striker has scored since the Morton game. Can't go on like that. Â Be interested to hear what those at the game thought. It sounded like we controlled the game, is that true? Are the goals we're losing down to individual errors or lack of organisation? Are the strikers not scoring because they're missing easy chances or are we not creating good chances? I've missed the last few games due to work so will be interested to hear what those who've been there think...

mio
No point in panicking, SR will be along soon to tell us we had more crosses into the box than St Johnstone!! always good to take the positives.
Shotts Well Fan
Fucking shite result and a pretty poor performance by all accounts, but that Twat Thomson is the worst referee in Scotland. He was shit and embarassing in Europe last season and how he represents the country is unbelievable. However authorities will protect him and his incompetence. 1991
Strange thing is i don't think we played to bad, don't think we did enough to win. Â I really don't think Bowman is cut out to play at this level he gives 100% but so would I, we need to sign a striker no doubt about it
Shaka
Radio said McHugh's tackle was potentially a straight red! But a lot on here saying good tackle? What did Dunne do to conceed the pen and get gis red?
Shotts Well Fan
Saw Moult at the end applauding supporters as if saying goodbye. Maybe he will be gone this week and hopefully we have a replacement lined up as Fisher and Bowman don't look like scoring many. Probably just my imagination though.
