Brazilian
He was indeed. And let's not forget Bobby Russell who sometimes goes unmentioned. Another top quality player who could put his foot on the ball and instinctively find Coop without needing to lift his head. That's OK. The current youngsters will have THIS team to rave about twenty plus years from now. Louis Moult et al won't be forgotten anytime soon. Aye, but we'll have both. Who says Motherwell fans don't have a positive outlook , born? and raised in the West of Scotland and still thinking we'll be about and able to tell the difference between Russell and Moult in the 2040's as for Favourite Goal, Psychos, Faddys, Moults et al are all up there but absolutely no doubt in my mind, one of Kirks simplest headers at the back post will be forever my favourite. Cooper swung a corner in from the right, into the wind, it teased Alan Main out towards 6yard line he got hands to it but under challenge from Paterson & Griffin? the ball made it through to Kirk arriving 3 yards out at the back post and he powered a header into the net.
that hat
My favourite goal is the one in front of the South Stand at Fir Park. I've seen many great goals scored in there.

claretband
I've always loved Kirk's chip in the 91 semi - almost as much as O'Neill's....but I've just watched the "Class of 91" DVD and he admits he just played it in to the back post, ie didn't mean it. Can anyone confirm and shatter my illusions...!
