daver
The radio commentators (including Bonner) were amazed Armstrong didn't get booked and said that it was worse than what Campbell got booked for.
Kmcalpin
Apparently we are writing to the SFA to clarify refereeing decisions after quite few angry fans contacted the club. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/teams/motherwell/motherwell-to-seek-answers-over-ref-decisions-after-celtic-penalties-1-4627559

Ya Bezzer!
Said it over at P&B but it's worth repeating. Willie Collum is a referee that consistently goes out on to the pitch in order to hijack the match and make it all about him. He absolutely revels in controversy, deliberately provokes it and see's himself as a headline act with the actual game incidental. He should have been thrown out of Scottish football years ago. Sadly though, Collum, isn't even the worst referee in Scotland. Take Andrew Dallas, a referee not fit for schools football, and yet propelled into the top rank at the age of 32 despite being utterly incompetent. What a coincidence then that his dad is Hugh Dallas, former head of referee development. Our referee's are, in the main, an arrogant clique of narcissistic peacocks.

Well Up For It!
Thomson is the worst of the lot for me, closely followed by Madden and Collum. Mention to Murray, Finnie, Allan, McLean and Norris for also being regularly hopeless.
ropy
Thomson is the one, no one else comes close not even Collum.
Del_Superwell
Shame there isnt an option for both, i mean how dare we try to beat the mighty Celtic who need to make sure theyve got the referee well briefed to bail them out when they are in trouble. Kmcalpin
Just watched the replay of the St Johnstone Rangers game last night, when Steven MacLean was in the middle. Morelos was cynically wiped out by Mannus and was denied a clear goalscoring opportunity and yet only received a yellow card . Compare that to the red cards dished out to Dunne, Carson and Kipre earlier this season for similar but less clear cut offences. Where is the consistency? wellowell
Also guy kicked Rangers player off the ball and McLean was watching it and only booked him ball wasn’t even in play ,so must be red if seen it which he obviously did as no reason to book him otherwise . Craigan made same point at half time ,scottish refs are worst I can remember and having Dallas jnr in charge on Sunday terrifies me
something else
Remember this ? Typifies everything about referees and the authorities in scotland. How many apologies are we owed ?? https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/877729/referee-don-robertson-will-call-celtic-manager-brendan-rodgers-to-apologise-for-his-penalty-blunder-following-alex-schalk-dive-in-ross-county-match/amp/
weeyin
It will never happen, but if refs were allowed to comment publically on their decisions - what they saw, and why they called it that way - I think it would help. Not only because it would help clarify, but because it might make for more accountability and keep them on their toes. Not quite the same situation, but after our League Cup semi when Vincent Lunny explained in great detail which incidents would be punished, or reviewed, and the reasons why - it helped make sense of a few things which are usually kept quiet behind closed doors. We might not always agree, but knowing the thought process behind these things often adds some much needed clarity.
DunnyMFC
Main issue is the refs aren't accountable so they can make the same mistakes and be inconsistent. The whole punishing players and managers when they criticise a ref for a poor performance typifies they can get away with making an arse of things.
