While we acknowledge his passing could improve, he's not been helped by teammates regularly failing to make themselves available.

 

Frear also had numerous chances in the first half to move up the wing when Dunne had the ball which would have taken the defender with him and allowed Dunne to quickly advance into space. I don't know if they've been told not to leave themselves exposed but there seemed a reluctance to exploit gaps.
