Personally I'd say it's more likely to be that it's an incredibly slow news day and threads like this make for easy copy to file.

Edit to add: Robinson's been in the press talking about the repayments and how it affects his budget as well.

The repayments to Les and Boyle are structured and scheduled favourably for us, and there is no pressure to repay them, and  you have the whole l double your money deal which suggests Hutchison is hardly desperate for his money back. 

We’ve just signed a bunch of guys on new deals and we’re working on upgrades to the pitch and stadium that weren’t urgent, which indicates we’re hardly strapped for cash.

This is exactly what was said in previous posts, Typical Scottish football “journalism”. Before such things as web forums, did journos just get their stories from fans in pubs?

Pretty much, wasn't uncommon for journo's to have particular players that they would regularly meet in the pub for an informal chat.

Journalists probably based figures on our annual accounts which referred to the accounting period which ended about a year ago. A lot has happened financially since then. Slow news day.

To put the Sun in context, their lead story on their Motherwell page was Jason Krones, ex Rangers starlet has been snapped up on a free transfer.

Further reading confirms he was released 12 months ago and started training with us in January and he was one of the players offered an extension by Craggs, along with another half dozen.

So Sun journalism is old firm reference in (ex player, supported them as a kid, once wore anything green or blue), crow bar into anything non old firm at the expense of other and higher newsworthy stories. Hang your heads in shame you shower of hacks.

So if the lad goes on to have a successful senior career he'll forever be "former Ranger" Jason Krones.
