Lobey_Dosser
FFS - had bet Celtic v Falkirk and Rangers v Morton at 125/1. Never mind, there havent been many scottish cup crackers at Fir Park in recent times so hopefully this lives up to potential. Tony Thomas springs to mind. steelboy
Unless there's a few shocks you're looking at a Celtic,Rangers,Aberdeen + A.N in the semis. Tricky. It does mean that if we win we are looking at making very good money from the semi.
Spiderpig
Another tough draw but very winnable at-home Hearts are average at best. But the top 3 ranked teams drawn at home to the 3 lowest ranked teams in the draw, FFS no wonder the conspiracy theories are rife. It will be Celtic v Motherwell and Rangers v Aberdeen in the semi finals

star sail
I am pulling figures off the top of my head but is that not something like 13 of Rangers last 15 cup draws being drawn at home? They certainly have the luck of the draw.
Kmcalpin
No surprise Old Firm at home to the lower league teams. Hot balls at play..... I can't agree with that. The 2 balls are usually put in a fridge or freezer.
siebsbarmyarmy
I can't agree with that. The 2 balls are usually put in a fridge or freezer. The new online theory I have read is that they vibrate.... telling the picker when to pick the balls... could be feasible :-)
texanwellfan
.....and the first tie of the round is Hot V cold ...er ..eh.. I mean Celtic V Morton
Yorkyred
Celtic and Rangers ties, you could not make it up. However a Hearts at home is very doable.

texanwellfan
Russian involvement in the draw? No, They took their time about it......... luckily I'm not here all week ! I'll get my coat.
weeyin
Both ugly sisters get home ties against lower league opposition. Nobody predicted that. Everybody on here predicted we'd be playing one of them.

grizzlyg
And it's Celtic...versus......(Ahhhhhhh ya.......Morton).....Rangers v.....(Ahhhhhhh ya)....Falkirk. happy with Well draw. Home tie and could have been worse
gullane
I don't deny the existence of conspiracies in the world but is today really one? Celtic and Rangers shouldn't really need a hot or vibrating ball to compete against the others in the draw. In recent years, the Old Firm have met in semis or earlier. The only emotion I'm showing is excitement at a cracking tie against The Jambos. Too close to call - but not one to face with in trepidation. texanwellfan
Best tie of the round. One of those where the butterflies will start after the mid week game and get steadily worse the closer the cup tie gets. Not fit to eat anything before the match on game day. All down to who does the business on the day or wee bit of luck or skill........or dare I say it...crap refereeing. Having said that I'll happily take a repeat of the Aberdeen league cup performance. faddythedaddy
When will we know if it will be on telly? What are the telly slots? Sat lunchtime and Sunday afternoon?
Shaka
It does mean that if we win we are looking at making very good money from the semi. Definately! With Rangers and Celtic being kept apart for the "glamour final" your looking at a tv game and 2 full houses. Nice little earner and extra incentive for us
superward
When will we know if it will be on telly? What are the telly slots? Sat lunchtime and Sunday afternoon? 3 of the ties will be covered (2 sky, 1 BBC). I'd think we might be the one left out to be honest. Which suits me fine. Kmcalpin
We have a hard home game against Aberdeen on the Wednesday before the tie. Hearts play on the Tuesday. Not good.
