siebsbarmyarmy
Can’t dress that up in any other way as awful and unacceptable. You don’t mind losing however losing with such an awful style of football against a terrible terrible Accies side is a joke. Make no mistake Accies are rank rotten, scored an utter worldly and had the three best chances in the game.

I can’t really think of any positives to take from the games so far. To be fair though mate, there isn't any real bedding in required,10 of the starting line up today played for us last season.robinsons insistance over the summer on strengthening the bench rather than making our starting 11 better is going too come back too haunt us.robinsons choice of substitutions along with woeful finishing cost us today, main looks like somebody thats never seen a football before and as for sammon,he should have been dropped off and tynecastle after the game last week and told not to come back. Ya Bezzer!
As I can keep telling people, people who possibly only turn up for the cup games, we've been atrocious for ages.
postiejim
Not the first time we’ve played poorly and lost the first two games of the season .I don’t like our style of football ,and Robbos a one trick pony imo ,but it’s way to early tae press the panic button. 1991
How Main lasted 90mins I will never know.; Then Frear again showing nothing I woukd rather Ross McLean was still here giving the chance Frear gets. We were dominating the game and pressing for a goal then Robbo blows it to bits switching to a 3-4-3. Suddenly Accies could win the ball in the middle and get a pass forward. Then our defence just buckled. Peter Hartley might be a write off. 2 weeks in a row a striker has ghosted past him and its lead to a goal. Conor Sammon did nothing for me. If anyone deserved to be hooked it was him. He should have been off for Johnson instead of Campbell. And really that is the attacking depth issue, there is no attacking midfielder on the bench to come on, all we have is throwing a striker out of position.
DEWELL
The most dissapointing thing for me is our style of football. Teams have us sussed out now and we need to adapt and get the ball on the deck again. Our deliveries into the box is pish and Sammon and Main are too similar. Play one or the other. A dreadfull Accies team and only the biggest sitter you'll see getting missed stopped it from being 2-0. Absolute shite.
Ya Bezzer!
First half was almost like a training exercise. We completely dominated but instead of using that possession to create goal chances we used it to get a series of head tennis matches going some of which seemed to go on forever. Honestly, someone needs to take a stopwatch to the matches to see how much time the ball spends on the ground because it can't be long. Accies were as poor a team as you'll ever play at this level and yet we had one real chance in the 45 minutes when Bigi got a header on target. Makes you wonder why the smallest player on the park is the only one that can get a header on target but anyway. Early second half we created a few chances and everything went high, wide and handsome with Curtis Main being the main culprit. As all these chances went begging we looked increasingly panicky and desperate. Delivery into the box was so poor, there was no composure and, you guessed it, balls were pumped into no mans land or straight on to Accies defenders. Then the inevitable happened, all Accies, this desperately poor Accies side, had to do was to get a bit of movement going and our defence was all over the place. In fact although Accies hardly attacked in the match, they had all the clear cut chances and should have actually won about 3-0, I mean, they literally missed an open goal. Anyway, Miller was through on goal was he was taken down and the free kick that lead to the goal was scored. After that we just fell apart. On the odd occasions that Accies got forward they went through us so easily it was scary and at the other end we didn't look like scoring in a month of Sundays. Once again a negative line up, atrocious long ball tactics, a complete lack of composure and a total absence of any footballing skill was served up for a grand total of no goals and no points. Yodo
Pish poor nobody else to blame but Robinson got it all wrong again ,listening to him on Radio Scotland saying all the same old shite about the pairing up front and how he needs to get it right well he's done nothing but get it wrong .Why put Johnson on and play him behind the two donkeys ,why give them the best surface in Scotland to play on then keep launching the ball in the air. We must must win our home games but more importantly beat the teams who will be in the bottom 6 along with ourselves .Dont give me this settling in patter haven't seen anything to give hope for this season so if we don't beat Rangers at home Mr Robinson there's the door

siebsbarmyarmy
About 4500 Well fans at the game today. Disappointing thing is this will dwindle dramatically watching that shite aswell. Also only 360 ish Accies fans. Not a crowd wank at all but that is brutal.
wellwell91
Where do you start with that Felt sorry for the ball we seemed determined to hammer into submission 40/50 yard diagonals to strikers who haven’t a clue in the air … then bring another striker on and play him behind the 2 dumplings who’ve been there from the start Robsinson’s subs were bazar to say the least As for Chris Cadden we should take any money coming our way and run don’t know wether it’s our shape or where he’s being asked to play but can’t remember the last time he went past a man and his delivery was atrocious

Katie
We were dominant until the double change, to the point where I was sure the goal was going to come eventually. Absolutely baffled that Tait and Campbell were brought off. After that we concede a stupid free kick and Accies score a fantastic goal, we huff and puff but can’t break them down. Not too worried yet, but it would be stupid to ignore the warning signs. ETA - is there a more irritating phrase in the footballing lexicon than ‘we go again’? mfcdez
Dear oh fucking dear. Hamilton are abysmal and came looking for a point from the off. We were chronically bad and let them waltz off with all three. So if Accies are abysmal, what does that say about us ? We amassed the bulk of our points early last season with our 'robust' style and by bodying teams all over the place. As the season went on, everyone else sussed us out pretty easily and the cup runs covered what was in fact an absolutely dire points return in the league from December on. Fast forward to now and Robinson has just tried to assemble another squad of exactly the same type of personnel, but without a little bit of class a la Moult to bail us out in shitfests like today. Danny Johnson did more in the last 20 mins against Hibs last week than Main and Sammon had done in the entire match, yet found himself back on the bench today. Speaks volumes of the managers bland hoofball shite. He keeps coming out with this 'Earn the right to play football' bollocks. - If you can't set up to be positive at home against a bottom 3-4 side at the very start of the season, when can you.? An awful lot of deficiencies to be remedied before last seasons good will quickly runs out for Mr Robinson.

Lukemfc1
I wish Robinson would be even a tad honest in his post match. Aye he's not going to slate the team but don't put in that display and come out with that nonsense. That was horrendous
steelboy
Two cup finals tho..... Robinson has set his stall out. He has bet his job on Connor Sammon and Aaron Taylor Sinclair. Good luck!

Most of the cup games involved us being gifted goals. Four howlers from Aberdeen. An OG and a goalie mistake from Hearts. A penalty and an OG from Accies. Two goalie mistakes from Hearts. We didn't deserve to lose any of those games but we were given huge luck in winning them. In pretty much any game where we aren't gifted the opening goal we struggle badly.
