texanwellfan
Ok I’ll start the thread and be the jinx.
Toxteth O'Grady
Team picks itself at the moment. I'm guessing this will be one of these threads where everyone is confident of a victory, which always makes me slightly nervous. 2-0 Motherwell
twistandshout1983
After the last few results I am hopeful of a victory in this one, wary of the fact we don't have a great record on this ground in the past. Going for a 2-0 win for the Well but, same as the game earlier in the season.
Yorkyred
I though St Mirren were awful at our place, the fact they won shows how poor we were. Let’s be honest this is a game we should be winning, very difficult to predict anything else. 2-0 the well.
MelvinBragg
Generally we don't often win 5 league games in a row even with fixtures as kind as our recent run so a win on Wednesday would be some achievement. Just feel we might fall short and draw 1-1. No real basis for my thinking, just a hunch...
texanwellfan
I think Ariyibi and Hastie will be too much for them. Fancy Main to score again and Ariyibi to get his first goal. 3-1 for superwell

We should have enough to win this one, but stranger things have happened than us losing in Paisley.

If WE don't know, neither will Saints. Our chief weapon is surprise, surprise and fear, fear and surprise. Our *two* weapons are fear and surprise, and ruthless efficiency. Our *three* weapons are fear and surprise and ruthless efficiency... 1
daver
Nobody expects...... Curtis Main to score again.
steelboy
I'd bring in Livingstone for this one. Put Tait back to right back and see how it goes in what is one of our simpler fixtures before the split. Hopefully Scott gets game time through the middle as well. Yorkyred
The last of the very winnable run of games which to be fair we have won and it’s then on to a far tougher next few.
underboyleheating
Our bubble needs to burst at some point and St Mirren’s fortunes will surely improve soon. However, hopefully not until we have scudded them 5-0 on Wednesday.
GazzyB
With a tough run coming up we need a win to have any chance of sneaking into the top six. Not saying he should or shouldn't but I can see Robbo rotating a little here.
texanwellfan
For me. Same starting 11 then see how it goes.
joewarkfanclub
We dont have a fixture at the weekend so we can rest players then. Dont mess with a winning formula. The players should be increasing in confidence so we should use that and try and do what we did to Livvy. If we can get the game won, give fringe players their chance then. Not before. supermarv
Ariyibi to get his first well goal, he gets better and better every time I watch him.
santheman
You can be sure that St Mirren will be set up to try and stop us playing.
Neilwell86
Madness to suggest changing things up, for no other reason than you want to see more youngsters out there. Don't fix what's not broken. I reckon we will see another penalty against st Mirren. 4-1 well, Mccormack to get off the mark with a pen (hopeful thinking)
texanwellfan
We’re not really saying much about this game, are we? Is that because it’s pretty much, same again Lorraine? Or are we afraid of jinxing ourselves because it really should be 5 in a row?
superward
Same again to start. I'd like to see Livi on the bench (although it seems Robbo thinks he's not quite ready), Scott to get another run out and McCormack to get a longer run out too.... fizoxy
The only potential I can see for a change is if hastie has any after effects from is injury on Saturday or if anyone else has a knock. With us being off this weekend I don’t think there will be any thought of resting anyone.
The African
Important fixture ( aren’t they all?) and we need to keep our feet on the ground and get a result. Our good run has been against sides around us or below us in the league. This is tha last of these before we start a run against sides higher up the ladder. If we can keep building the momentum of the past few games, who knows what we may achieve? The wheels will come off at some stage, but hopefully not in this fixture. superwell87
Same team, 3-0 'Well - Hastie hat trick.

Pretty much although I don't think we should be prioritizing a top six place at this stage, we should be looking to improve the team long term. But with the tough matches coming up I think we need to win this one just in terms of keeping the momentum going. St. Mirren have been dreadful this season. They only have 3 wins all season and in the last 10 they have only won once and that was against us at Fir Park. In fact they have lost 7 out of the last 8. Their goals against makes horrific reading; 1 clean sheet in 10 (again against us!) and they have conceded at least 2 goals in 8 out of the 10. Overall 24 goals against in the last 10. They haven't scored twice in a match since Dec 5th and have only scored two goals in the last 5 matches. We need to be dealing with this team. Haggischomper
Would take 1-0 to us right now. Hopefully we knuckle down and don't start thinking we're Billy Bigbawz, and hopefully Robbo doesn't start outhinking himself. I see he's back to the rancid "battle and scrap then earn the right to play football" patter.
