Campbell really sets a high bar for himself, and I thought he had a great game. As well as his usual work breaking things up he showed real composure on the ball when he had it. I think the only reason we still have him is his lack of pace.

I thought Campbell might struggle a bit today after his exertions for Scotland U21s, but he was absolutely everywhere today, from the first minute to the last.

He's not going to get the plaudits but thought Donnelly was brilliant sitting deep,  tough and positionally aware.

Allan Campbell for me. The boy is different class and and an absolute unsung hero. By a mile the most influential player on the park today.

campbell was relatively quiet 1st 20 when it was a bit of a war with fouls everywhere. then he made a good interception bombed through the middle and from then on was awesome. polworths passing doesnt get credit it deserves from some and i thought cole was good as well. fans were also gd today best away atmosphere for a wee bit i thought.

Tough call but went for Donnelly, very unlucky with his run and shot that hit the bar. Anytime Hearts forwards got in behind Gallagher or Hartley he was there covering.

Mentions to for Campbell & Polworth who we’re both outstanding also.

Have to admit, I was very worried about those three together in midfield being good enough against the better teams....glad I’m being proved wrong so far!
