fatcalf
Just got a text from a mate on the train, seriously what is the point of such OTT policing of fitba' fans travelling to a game? And what is the point of having ICT in the league if you can't have a good swally on the 4 hour journey?
that hat
They're not 'Well fans in fancy dress for Comic Relief? Or Stuart Kennedy and his mates heading back up north?
Well Well
Because of the one or two clowns who scare the shit out of normal passengers cause they cant handle the bevvy and become trouble...only themselves to blame..if the Motherwell fans had say stewards or marshalls who showed they could keep the idiots in check then maybe through liaison with the polis they would lower their numbers. However having been on a number of these swallie trips the arseholes are quick to show themselves amongst those fans wanting a good laugh and a swallie on the long journey north
fatcalf
So instead of dealing with the arseholes they have to ruin it for everyone else? Clever that.
Nijholt91
So instead of dealing with the arseholes they have to ruin it for everyone else? Clever that. How do they ruin it for everyone else? Unless, of course, they plan on misbehaving on the train. Other than the the number of polis there shouldn't really bother anyone
ankles
How do they ruin it for everyone else? Unless, of course, they plan on misbehaving on the train. Other than the the number of polis there shouldn't really bother anyone Obviously he means they ruin it for the folk who are well behaved but still fancy a good drink on the way up to Inverness. I think it's bollox to be honest, they got fuck all better to be doing than checking up on people with booze on trains? Sorry This is Beesher, posted on my da's account
Wellworn
I'm sure at the final whistle I heard an announcement on the radio to the motherwell fans saying no drink would be allowed on the train back to Motherwell. A bit OTT in my opinion.
Onthefringes
This was always going to happen when the authorities came up with those on the otherside of the M8 playing in the north on the same day. It'll be an interesting train home now anyroads, Inverness Police Station is getting emptied anytime now of those who weren't allowed to join the coach trip home!!! Burn_Broomfield
When the cops up there get used to people actually being there then the quicker the better. They are like wee lassies at a Take That concert. Easily the worst Police Force in Scotland(and they don't know how to properly arrest someone, mobile in a cell???). They are fast on the way to ruining what used to be a great day out. They woulb be well advised that football fans contribute to their wages and are human beings like everyone else. If they treated people on the street in similar fashion to how they treat supporters then the bastards would be out on their ear.
