The commentators in the Coleraine game are going on about the financial prize of qualifying for the next round. I don’t think they’re going mental over 20k. If you progress you get 240k if you are papped out. Win that and you get 260k if you are papped out in the 3rd round. etc. These are all just baseline payments. In prior years the TV money share has been quite tasty too. 200k+ per round sounds like a lot, but UEFA money can be a bit mental.

Based on the forecast of €3.25bn in overall revenue, €107.5m will be distributed to the clubs as follows. UEFA Europa League – champions and main pathsEach club participating in the qualifying rounds will receive the following amounts per round played:• preliminary round – €220,000• first qualifying round – €240,000• second qualifying round – €260,000• third qualifying round – €280,000• play-offs – €300,000 (eliminated clubs only). Regardless it's all extra money in the bank.

grizzlyg
Made hard work but after we got first goal it was good viewing. Let's just rejoice in a morale boosting win with 3 strikers scoring. We know which players were poor tonight but let's focus on the positives and hopefully this can kickstart our season...COYW
