The commentators in the Coleraine game are going on about the financial prize of qualifying for the next round. I don’t think they’re going mental over 20k.

I think basically those figures are what you get when you are knocked out in each of those rounds.

I don't think so because that wouldn't cover your travelling costs.

It was definitely a payment for every round when we were in from 2010-2014.

What I'm trying to say is that 220k is your baseline for being papped out in the preliminary round.

If you progress you get 240k if you are papped out.

Win that and you get 260k if you are papped out in the 3rd round.

etc.

These are all just baseline payments. In prior years the TV money share has been quite tasty too.

200k+ per round sounds like a lot, but UEFA money can be a bit mental.

It's cumulative. We have already made 500,000 Euros.

I think you’re right. There was a discussion on this on P&B the other week, the below posted as a result. States that the money is paid per round, and you get to keep all the money from the previous rounds you’ve been in. This is also the case in Football Manager, which we all know is entirely lifelike. 
 

 

Solidarity payments for the qualifying phase of the UEFA club competitions

Under the new distribution system, the pot for payments to clubs participating in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds will be equal to 3% of the overall gross revenue plus an additional €10m coming from UEFA Champions League clubs. Based on the forecast of €3.25bn in overall revenue, €107.5m will be distributed to the clubs as follows.

Each club participating in the qualifying rounds will receive the following amounts per round played:
• preliminary round – €220,000
• first qualifying round – €240,000
• second qualifying round – €260,000
• third qualifying round – €280,000

It might be - but I'm struggling to find that anywhere,

Of course the prize money might be less this year with single leg ties and no crowds - the figures I had were from last season.

Regardless it's all extra money in the bank.

Thanks for clarifying. That is most welcome news. I’m sure we were earning closer to £70/80k per round 10 year ago.
