Donnelly doubtful too. Mcginley a big loss judging on Monday performance. Donnelly not a big loss if unfit.....wonder if Grimmy crocked him!!! alanos
Given McGinlay out, this would be my team. Carson Donnelly Gallagher Lambie O’Hara Campbell Hastie Turnbull Polworth Watt Long Really a 3-5-2.

If Donnelly not fit then Maguire to come in
Stu92
I reckon Lamie will go to left back, and Donnelly will drop in to centre half given he played there more than once during pre-season. If both do miss out I reckon we have problems. I think we all know that we're a bit light at the back, but was hoping it wouldn't be an issue by week 2. I'd personally either drop Hastie or move him to the left, and would prefer Watt starting over Seedorf. With the exception of White, I think you could start any of our forwards anywhere along the front 3 and be confident of causing problems for the opposition purely out of not knowing who was playing where. I don't know if we want to be going with 'out and out' wingers based on the number of times we got to the by-line the other night or the number of crosses we got into the box. Carson Grimmy - Gallagher - Donnelly - Lamie O'Hara - Turnbull - Campbell Long - Watt - Hastie/Seedorf/Polworth/Hylton
weeyin
Keep Donnelly away from the pens and Long away from the direct free kicks and we have chance.

Carson Grimmy - Gallagher - Donnelly - Lamie O'Hara - Turnbull - Campbell Long - Watt - Hastie/Seedorf/Polworth/Hylton I agree with most of that team Stu92 (presuming Donnelly is fit). Have no idea what we do if he’s not. Mugabi? Worrying...... Although I would go with Seedorf Watt and Hastie (on the left) as the front 3. santheman
Someone over on P&B saying it’s the Motherwell Hibs. 6-6 game that’s on Sky at that time not the Utd game.

Kmcalpin
I’ve thought that our preferred formation was 5-4-1 but that’s. A crude assessment. Apparently it’s 4-2-3-1. The fitness of defensive personnel will be crucial tomorrow. If Donnelly is fit to play I hope it’s not in central defence.

The first question is "Is Donnelly fit to play". If he isn't then its academic. We would have a choice of Mugabi, Maguire, Devine or Hussain. Personally I'd opt for one of the first two but management will know the fitness and readiness of individual players.
