grizzlyg
Bad performance and teams know exactly how to play against us. Getting fed up with the square pegs in round holes from Robinson. Poor Grimmy isnt a right back and switched off for goal. Playing wingers on side of weaker foot doesn't work. Seedorf much better when playing on right side. Robinson doing usual I vant bring anyone else in nonsense. He has signed about 7 players. Maybe he should start looking at his scouting network. Please return him to Rangers...I would rather play Hylton or the groundsman than Hastie Someone needs to check his footwear before he takes the field again. 'WellMagic!
That was really grim today. Grimshaw at his best is poorer than Tait at his worst. We need to sort that position out pronto, but I fear he's in for the season as he's one of Robinson's favourites. Hylton should be on the pitch every day of the week over Hastie. He has his dodgy moments, but Hylton generally makes a lot more happen than all of our other wide players combined (White's chopped off goal for example) Hastie went cold just before we sold him and he's looked like a riot so far. Also, playing Seedorf on the left does not work, it was blatantly obvious last season. We just looked like a boys club today, absolutely toothless and devoid of motivation and ideas. I fear getting rid of Tait and Hartley has removed some much needed experience from the squad. Mugabi is clearly shaky, but I don't think the defence was the main issue today. Using Seedorf and Long as target men is a wild strategy for starters, and consistently playing players on their weaker side gives us zero going forward.
wellwell91
Mugabi was not the worst today but is really not good enough ……… don’t know what Barry Maguire has done to Robinson And are we trying to turn into Livi …… what are these long throws all about never looked likely that anyone would get on the end of on And we seemed to have reverted to 40 yard diagonal balls from the back ……… not even remotely in the vicinity of a Motherwell player

Had we won the opening two games we wouldn't be championship contenders, equally two defeats doesnt make us relegation fodder .......yet

Ross County look like they have improved and we should have had a draw But that today was utter garbage. I normally look for positives but there were none other than Turnbull getting another game but he looks as if he has a long was to go. A defence with Mugabe and Grimshaw and we are surprised we concede goals. Up front Long and Watt looked a promising attack in but they have looked well off it. Early days but there is NO chance we are finishing top 6 unless we get our act together pronto no we should have beat Ross County they were pedestrian and we still did enough as mediocre as we were to deserve to beat them. Today we were totally inept all over the park.

steelboy
Add in the cup and it's worse. Two games isn't a huge sample but it looks like we're continuing our 2020 attacking form while becoming worse defensively. Letting good servants like Hartley and Tait go to sign worse players is a sign of managerial decline.
milo
We’ve just continuing the form of 2020 to be honest. 1 win in 10 or something? Honestly can’t see where the first win is coming from. Could quite conceivably lose the first 6/7/8 games and be completely detached. This seasons “Hearts of last season”.

Yorkyred
I’m going to hold back on the yearly “Robinson out” from the usual suspects. It’s a squad at least as strong as last season, Tait could not get in the team and Hartley took pelters from one or two who seem to suddenly think he’s now Mr wonderful. I predict will will again be nowhere near the bottom and those making the actual decisions will use common sense, not panic, and retain Robinson. Which will again be shown to have been the correct decision as it has been for the last three seasons.
