livivoice
Yes, Saturday was just one game but Watt's all round performance was to me reminiscent of a certain Tommy Coyne. Intelligent, creative, great touch, good linking with others, eye for goal and a bit of devilment. Yup, Watt needs to string a number of performances before he can consistently be me tioned in the same breath as The Cobra but Saturday could be the start. Down to you Tony.
Brazilian
you’re on it early still on summertime? Tony is capable of being quite a star with his talent, but he’s no messiah
stv
He's just a very naughty boy.
grizzlyg
Saturday definitely very encouraging but need to see it on a regular basis, however work rate and attitude spot on (Long take note). Coyne was just immense...£175k which was a bargain, him and dougie were just awesome together
Shaka
Another year to his deal, good business!
Yorkyred
Great news given he’s getting better and better. We would struggle to find anyone else of his level without paying good money in my view, just hope he keeps his head in the game.
joewarkfanclub
I have to confess, I had my doubts that he would be any good for us., but he has proved me wrong. He has added the hard work and application to his undoubted ability and thoroughly deserves his new deal. Here's hoping he doesnt rest on his laurels and maintains his fitness. If he does, we will have a serious player on our hands and bigger clubs might come calling again.

Totally agree happy to say he has proved me wrong outwith Alan Campbell I don't think another player busts a gut for us as much as Tony Watt does hope he keeps it up and pushes on. ropy
Could Tony be a squad player for Scotland, does he have a cap?
GazzyB
He's got one cap in a friendly. He's got an outside chance if he can keep up his form and score a good few goals.

If we have serious aspirations of going far in the tournament we need an able deputy to big Dykes.
real dosser
If McBurney can get called up then Tony Watt should be a shoe-in for the Scotland squad on the basis of his current form. He has to keep it up though in the next few games.
StirlingDosser
I think Watt may have found a club he genuinely fits and has a connection with. The obviously didn't happen for whatever reason at St Johnstone for example. He really is bringing something to the game and is a focal point. Delighted he has earned himself a new deal and that I, like many others have been proven wrong.
