For example, he continually gets booked for talking back to referees, so perhaps being captain will either: a) make him think before he speaks, and/or b) give him more freedom to talk to refs before they consider his continual backchat a bookable offence. Just a thought. Doubt ‘a’ will happen and fear that ‘b’ would see him thinking he can say more than he should. One thing you can take however is that we desperately need another striker that doesn't just play across the front 3, but is actually a striker. And we're still powderpuff in midfield.
