Steve Diggle
It was shown on the Sutton interview earlier in the week. You'll be very very surprised. . . . . . But not in a good way
Wellfan1984
tbf I thought the East Stand wing looked great... who cares about the rest. Hammell seems to play better in first half and Quinn plays better in the second usually anyway (aslong as we keep the way we're shooting correct)
underboyleheating
To be honest the park looked shocking. More so on the telly due to the higher viewpoint. The ball just bobbles all over the place which makes a passing game almost impossible. Roll on next season.
Special aka
Looked awful on Alba last night.
Nijholt91
Noticed during the game that the South Stand actually blocked very little of the sunlight getting to the South side of the pitch
fatcalf
It's not at that time of day we need sunlight on it though is it? In terms of frosty mornings it's blocking sunlight from thawing it out.

True but alot has been said about no sunlight getting to the pitch to allow the pitch to dry out or help the grass grow
fatcalf
I don't think the grass can see the sun for all the sand that's on top of it.
MFCGMFC
True but alot has been said about no sunlight getting to the pitch to allow the pitch to dry out or help the grass grow from 3-5pm the sun maybe getting to sum of the park but we need it a lot more 2 hours per day aint really enough? mon_da_well
Who cares what it's like just now. It meets SPL regulations so is playable and we keep winning on. Fucking keep the sand coming!

scott_mfc
We should colour all the sand green, will atleast make it look better!
johnstone
The fact is the pitch cost us another two goals on Saturday. A better surface and I am sure Sheridan and Sutton would have slotted those two chances away. The ball bobbling along caused them to take an extra second on hitting the shot. This pitch will bite us on the arse at some point this season. Luckily though we have been getting the rub of the green so to speak!
mon_da_well
If you're blaming the pitch for not getting those two goals then the wind has to get an assist for our opener.
Tartan_Special
Cant we just paint the big dirty bits green? So it looks good on the telly?
SCDave
As I've drunkenly said many a time - with neither of the OF filling the South Stand these days, get work started on removing the top tier! I think it would be a right nice wee stadium if we lost that top tier, and would help the pitch alot Flame away

SuperSteelman
I think the groundsman should get his arse down to Aldi on Thursday. http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_9177.htm

Steve Diggle
The park's a disgrace. If you compare Easter Road on Satutrday to Fir Park - you have to ask some serious questions. Their coup was almost as bad as ours 6 weeks ago - but look at the comparison on Saturday. Well done to the Hibs board and groundstaff for turning that round. (as far as I recall they have 3 x 2 tier stands round their pitch too)
