Shields isn't good enough. He's done nothing over the past 18 months to suggest otherwise. In fact, Crankshaw showed more promise in one game today than I can recall Shields ever showing.

Max put in a couple of half decent crosses, which our other full backs are incapable of doing. So he gets my vote. 

Spittal is nowhere near as bad as some folk are at pains to make out, and for me isn't even on the first page of our list of problems.

Max for me. Carried a threat going forward and showed a bit of character. Didn’t look the most assured defending though.

McKinstry did fairly well too although the interplay with KVV that led to the goal has to be happening far more frequently.
