wellfan
Get him to fuck. In an economic climate where the average person often has to choose between heating or eating, his form of entertainment will see to it that ticket sales begin to fall.
Kmcalpin
In his defence, he's had to deal with an horrendous injury situation, some of which is of his own doing ie signing crocks. However if we lose both games to St Johnstone then the pressure will really mount on him.

Any other manager dealt an injury blow like Kettlewell has had would surely switch up their system to better accommodate who remains available. Whereas Kettlewell continues to fudge square pegs into round holes and persists with the most obvious busted flush of a system we’ll ever likely see. He only has himself to blame in that regard.

The pressure will mount on social media - don't think from the club.

couttsy
I can again see both sides of the Kettlewell debate. Whilst we’re exceptionally poor at the moment, we’ve also been so unlucky with injuries this season, particularly to important players. To be missing the full spine of the team yesterday in Ox, Gordon, Miller and Stama, it’s little surprise we’re struggling to get results. On the flip side, and as many are saying, we’re so poor to watch and don’t really look like we have a plan for when we have the ball. Allied to that we keep trying things that have failed previously. If we can ever get McGinn, Gordon & Casey on the pitch together with Miller, Andrews, Maswanhise and Stama we have the makings of a decent team. Until that happens it’s going to be a tough watch and trying to grind out a result or two. I get the feeling Sat is massive for SK to keep the silent majority of the support onside, lose to a team that have won 4 games out of 22 and go out the cup I fear will see the majority turn on him.

There is some merit to this argument. I do feel that SK sees the same problems as the rest of us. Its just his solutions to those problems often seem quite mental. Same with his in game management. That said, I know you are a big advocate of going to a back 4, and under different circumstances I would agree. But the majority of our injuries this season have been to midfield players so dropping a defender to put in an extra midfielder would be next to impossible, paricularly as we dont have a decent defensive mid to sit in front of a 4. With Vale back, I do think 4-3-3 is a possibility, but with his red card, it definitely wont be on Saturday. In short. SK has had a really shit hand dealt to him this season. I think there ARE things he could have done to make life easier for himself, but we arent in possession of all the facts and information he has at his disposal, so he will continue to get the benefit of any doubt from me for the moment. If we get knocked out of the cup and get dragged into a relegation battle and he is still doing the same things, then my patience will be severely tested. Right now, I will continue to suffer like everyone else.

Big Wispy Flossy
Alexander went after finishing fifth so the precedent has been set. Kettlewell out. That’s worse than Sligo for me

Villageman
agree 100% wit this. Should be out the door by mid day Monday. Cue for " But who are go to get" there is another donkey in the field next to my house, might be an improvement. 9 minutes ago, wellfan said: Where’s his defenders tonight?! I've criticised you frequently for wanting him out, and up till now I was cutting him some slack, with all the injuries we have etc but after today no more we were brutal, big support up and we shat the nest big time. So for me his time is up, he needs to go.
mio
I’ve backed SK to the hilt, even at times when it’s been clear he’s been at fault and also due to the names brought up to replace him……. But I now feel we can’t keep watching this anti-football. I don’t trust him to bring in new players as he’ll still have his favourites being automatic starters. I think time is up. grizzlyg
Defended him loads even when things were bad but I am sorry....after last season horrendous run when board backed him he has had 2 windows and we have made no progress and a style of football which is terrible. The injuries this season of course haven't helped but his attitude has changed and he seems to love sound of his own voice. Board don't have the guts to make a change but I think it's time to go despite fact we are 5th but that will change very quickly. If we turn it round I promise you I will be first on this forum apologising to him
MJC
Even if we did punt him, which we won’t, then we’d only end up with Frail or even Richard fucking Foster.

Orinoco
Who's out there realistically that would improve us? Just need to look around the country to see all managers are crap according to their fan base. Not that I am saying stick or punt. As I've said before maybe a freshen up of our coaching staff or even an addition. Fresh views are needed.
pretzel
The football on display has been brutal to watch over the past few seasons. We have had far too many performances where we haven't laid as much as a glove on the opposition. Today seemed as a predictable result and performance as they come, it's a real shame that almost 2000 fans travelling couldn't motivate the side in any way. I wouldn't shed a tear of he got his jotters but that won't happen He will fluke a win next week.

Pretty sure we could unearth a gem from somewhere that has a plan b if they have that then give them the job right now. Maybe David Healy from Linfeld along those lines who knows but that's where I would be looking should job come up.

I don't think he will lose his job even if we end up in a play off spot tbh.He has so many aces up his sleeve to fall back on saving us from the drop, Bair turn around, injuries, winning at Ibrox and getting us to a semi final. But sometimes things run it's course no matter what's went on and it's starting to look like we need those fresh ideas pronto cause Kettlewell looks out of ideas and has been for a while.
