Don’t worry folks we’re 4th on the league and 16 points better than last season

don’t worry folks we’re 5th in the league and league and 9 points better than last season

Don’t worry folks we’re 5th in the league and 6 points better than last season .

Dont worry other than this time last season we went through the worst run of games in SPL history - someone forgot to mention those facts .

Suspect we’ll finish 9th or 10th in a league that is pretty poor with spending more on a squad than any in living memory .

please don’t ask - ‘do who else is better’ in reality SK has performed reasonably well but then so did GA and he rightly got the chop .

Oh man!!

I think I am throwing in my towel now too.

You just get a sense when the wheels are coming off and I never really got that sense during the long losing streak but the team had to make a statement today and they have not been able to do it. The manner of the defeat rings alarm bells too.

I have fought the good fight but I am raising the white flag.

If he does go now, what is for certain is that we are turning over managers at an alarming rate. I still believe that this says more about the challenges of the job than it does about the incompetence of what is a growing list of managers.

Good post👍 but i think we might be on course to do a hibs a few years ago

For now we are. If you watched any games you will see it's false position. Generally if a teams on very poor run and fans disgruntled, you get a statement.

.Never heard statements from Aberdeen, killie,St mirren all with bad runs, and I do watch games, know we're pish but don't expect statements when his remit is keeping us in the league and he's doing that even though it quickly changes, there would be manager sackings every other week if teams were on a bad run and being 5th in league, the good to watch entertainment stuff is another thing but don't think that was in his remit.

Sacking in top half is highly unlikely albeit some comments recent he’s making life hard for himself .

he’s been given a very generous budget and on current trajectory we’re heading towards 9-10th again .

the entertainment part will be part of his budget - fans will stop coming to games and that very much will impact

I'm sure if we were playing expansive, classy, entertaining football and bottom of league it still wouldn't be good enough, the league set up and the pressures of staying up sways managers of lower budget teams and who shop in poundland to err on not getting beat, trying to get the balance right is difficult when you have limited player ability, b Rodgers wouldn't win a title here, would struggle to win a cup or qualify for Europe,we are where we are unfortunately,it's happening now and will in the future, not defending him,he's made mistakes, that generous budget is in the main loans, free transfers and out of contract players for a reason.

He isn't going anywhere soon, next week we can just write off, we then have a week off as it's the cup.  It is then Ross Co at home and for me that is massive, currently 5pts clear so a win would be huge.  However a defeat and I do fear the atmosphere could be bad.  If I felt Kettlewell was capable of turning it round I would say it but for me that interview last week was chronic. When things are going bad you need your fans onside, he is alienating more and more each week and this includes a lot (myself included) that had backed him.

Still feel different from Alexander situation.  He just was an unlikeable character and didn't show affection for the club.  Kettlewell has the passion but just has no idea how to set us up and a style of football which is driving fans away

Doesn't mean if other clubs don't communicate with fans makes it ok for us to do same. Surely we can aspire for better standards. Also entertainment is zero given tactics he adopts. And it is also an entertainment business.

The board aren't going to send a statement out re Kettlewell unless he leaves. That's pretty standard.

Plenty football boards give out votes of confidence statements for the manager but that usually means it is the beginning of the end for them. We may be different as we are a fan owned club.

Maybe you should arrange the lunch with Stuart that you won sooner rather than later.

Yes they do - but I can't remember the last time I saw any club doing it - I don't think that was what the poster earlier meant. They were looking for a statement saying he was going to be getting punted

Having sat through another 95  minutes of a turgid, flat and passive performance today, I've come off the fence and now believe it's time to part company with SK.

Wasn't impressed with his post match comments blaming the players. He really needs to take responsibility.

It's time to go Stuart.

He won't be sacked before next Saturday unless he walks - the County game might be the tipping point.
